Inspired by the rustic Tuscan style, this gorgeously refurbished hayloft features ceilings with exposed beams and bricks and thoughtful touches for a stylish and comfortable decor. From the relaxing hammock and the stone made barbecue in a panoramic garden to the cozy fireplace, every space feels open and inviting. Immersed in total peace and tranquillity with a breathtaking view over the Chianti hills, halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena, the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The accommodation has 2 floors. The upper floor spaces 2 double bedrooms with wonderful views of the olive trees and a bathroom with window and large masonry shower. On the ground floor a cozy and spacious living area with fireplace and a kitchenette with gas stove a large fridge and oven. The barn has ceilings with exposed beams and bricks. Outside there is a panoramic garden set on its own where, in the shade of a walnut trees, you can relax on a hammock or grill your meal (included an authentic local Fiorentina steak :-) on the stone made barbecue. A garden table is there for romantic dinners 'al fresco'. Immersed in total peace and tranquility halfway between Florence, Arezzo and Siena the barn is a perfect homebase to visit Tuscany. The closest towns are Cavriglia and the small Medioeval villages of Moncioni and Montegonzi. In each town you can find great local restaurants and a small grocery shop. Moncioni is 3 km far away. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi and you can reach it in 8 minutes by car ( exactly 7 km far away). In Montevarchi you can also find one of the best farmer markets in Tuscany! The station of Montevarchi is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Siena can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The easy access to the motorway A1/E35 Milan-Florence-Rome (the Valdarno exit is only at 13 km) allows you to reach numerous interesting spots within a short time, both in Tuscany and Umbria, while few kilometres south of Cavriglia you enter the suggestive territory of the Crete Senesi. Out in the countryside, the home offers an authentic experience of Tuscany. Small towns and villages are a short drive away providing acces to exceptional local restaurants and fantastic farmers markets. A big supermarket is located in Montevarchi (7 km far away). The railway station is 8 km away from the barn. From there you can take train to Florence and Arezzo. Cities of interest like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and Monteriggioni can be reached in 40 minutes by car The only way to reach the house is by car. A taxi service is active from Montevarchi You will be provided of blankets and towels. The kitchen is equipped with and kind of pots, pans, bowl, plates and silverware. You are welcome to use them. What a fabulous setting and location. Perfect to explore the Chianti region and beyond. It’s roomy, everything you need is there, beautiful pool and a view to cherish. Dining on the terrace is a wonderful experience and with a vinyard with lovely wines available right next door what more do you need from a Tuscan holiday. All hosted perfectly by Fabio and Andrea. Very highly recommended.

This place is just magical. If you want quiet and peace on an actually working farm but yet very clean you MUST stay here. They were the most hospitable hosts I have ever had. We even adopted one of the little pigs ( MISS YOU BACON! YES, WE EVEN NAMED him BACON ). The property manager was extremely responsive and catered to any need we had. By the end of our stay they had become as family. I dare you to stay here and not be very very impressed. Thank you Christina, Carmelo, and of coarse Fabio. We love you all

What an incredible location!!! Monticchiello is the most quaint and picturesque town nestled in the heart of Tuscany. Walking up to the accommodations feels like a fairy tale - the view of the Val D’Orcia and the medieval tower you walk into, but you are then transported into the most relaxing little apartment. The amenities are wonderful - the attention to detail was not lost on us. We stayed here right after our wedding and it was exactly what we needed. Also, Deb’s Lounge was such a nice place to get breakfast (included!) and we enjoyed some fresh pici pasta for dinner our first night. Would 100% come back!!

We found Peggy’s place to be the perfect spot for exploring Tuscany. The instructions made it for easy to find & only a few short minutes drive from Panzano where we had lunch at Dario’s (a must in our opinion). Also highly recommend Montese Cooking Experience in San Gimignano.

Upon our arrival, we felt like family, Paula and the team welcomed us very well and the accommodation was very comfortable. Our stay was very pleasant, Arianne introduced us to the vineyard and the wines of Le Miccine in a very friendly way. I highly recommend going there for an unforgettable experience in Tuscany in the Chianti Classico region!

Our family had the dreamiest stay at Alessandro’s. We had a large family of 12 and had plenty of place to sleep with plenty of bathrooms. About a 20 minute taxi ride from the main siena center. We also had our own private pool which was a short walk through the olive trees. We enjoyed the wine from the property, cooking class with Stacey, and enjoyed a wonderful private dinner in the outdoor courtyard. Laura was also very responsive to anything we needed during our stay. Our family had the most memorable stay! Would 10/10 recommend staying here.

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.
