Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. The water in the fountain is from the Olav Spring. The farmhouse is located in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen, between Oslo and Trondheim. Nearest neighbor is South-Fron Church (Gudbrandsdalsdomen).
