Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. Modern cabin with easy access

The cabin is on two floors. It has a living room and open kitchen solution, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna, hallway, fireplace, terrace with fire pit, smokery and hot tub. Baby cot and high chair for children are available. We have installed an electric car outlet. Dogs are allowed with some restrictions (only on the ground floor and not on the furniture). Pleasant cottage area with a mix of people who actively go cross-country skiing and families with small children. Quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.

The house has 5 bedrooms and is suitable for families, groups of friends, and business travelers with up to 8 guests. The large garden with Maihaugbekken, two terraces, fireplace, art, and Persian rugs give the house a warm and unique atmosphere. The bookshelves contain a large collection of local history about Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen. Private parking for up to 3 cars.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
