Walking distance to swimming area, canoeing and fishing. 15 min drive to the alpine resort on Sjusjøen and 30 min to Lillehammer. Hygga Fjellkro 3 km away.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Faråsen treetop farm! A unique experience in beautiful treetop cabins 10 meters above the ground. This treetop cabin is called Mjøsgløtt and has been named because of the amazing view. Here you can not only experience life in a tree top cabin, but you can also visit the nice animals we have on our farm. We also sell meat from the farm that can be delivered to the cabin and grilled at your private gapahuk by a cozy pond. Here the children can swim and use the rowboat. There are also nice hiking trails for walking, skiing and cycling.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are located undisturbed in fantastic natural surroundings. The cabin in the forest, like the other cabins, has stunning views of Mjøsa and Kastadtjernet. Here you can relax and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly baked croissants. Suitable for 2 persons. Skogen is one of 3 stone cabins on the farm. The other two are Røysa and Åkeren. Familievennlig og rolig fjellhytte i naturskjønne omgivelser nær Sjusjøen. Preparerte langrennsløyper ligger ca. 200 meter fra hytta, med tilgang til sammenhengende løypenett mot Sjusjøen. Kort vei til Sjusjøen skisenter med alpinbakker gir gode muligheter for alpint og snowboard. Om vinteren er området perfekt for skiferie med både langrenn og alpint. Om sommeren byr fjellet på flotte tur- og sykkelmuligheter, bading i Ljøsvatnet og fiske (fiskekort). Et perfekt helårssted for aktive familier.

Free electric car charger (type2, 25A), fast internet, satellite dish with many channels (incl. free Viaplay), washing machine, fire pan, board games. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee machine (must buy Dolce-Gusto capsules), kettle ++. The cabin is south-west facing with good sun conditions and great views. There are duvets and pillows in the cabin, but you must bring your own bedding and towels.
