There is a short distance to ALL the facilities and experiences both summer and winter: Maihaugen, Olympia Park, Hafjell, Hunderfossen, Lilleputthammer, Sjusjøen, and much more.

In a lovely setting with forest, pasture and water views, it is suitable for accommodation and activities. The farm is quiet and secluded. Around the farm there is the possibility of short and longer trips. 800 m from the house is a small water where you can swim and fish in the summer, or just enjoy the silence. In the Activity Barn there is the possibility of exercise, billiards, table tennis, long table and sofa nook. Experienced riders can rent a horse for horseback riding. Sjusjøen, Lillehammer and Moelv are about 20 minutes away.

Lillehammer city centre about 15 min drive, you will visit Jorekstad Recreational Bath, Hafjell alpine facilities, Hunderfossen or Lilleputthammer it is about 30 min drive there.

The stone cabins at Kastad farm are remotely located in stunning natural surroundings. The cabin in the pipe, like the other cabins, has an amazing view of Mjøsa and Kastadtar. Here you can completely unplug and wake up to a delicious breakfast basket with freshly roasted croissants. Suitable for 2 people. Røysa is one of three stone cottages on the farm. The cabin is spacious, bright & airy with high ceilings, large window areas & a 50 m2 terrace. Vidsyn is located in Birkebeinerbakken. It is built on a slope, at the end of a dead end street & towards a free area. You can sled or buckle up the cross-country skis at the cabin, & for alpine skiing you drive to Sjusjøen- or Hafjell alpine center in only 10 & 30 min, respectively.
