Cabin holiday rentals in Ringvassøya

Turid and Hans have a gem with their "cabin" - a cozy place with lots of artwork, well equipped kitchen and magnificent views on the fjord and mountains of Ringvasoya. They made us feel like at home and were very responsive to any requests we had. What they couldn't control was the weather, but especially in bad weather the living room with the comfy couch, its many windows and the new sauna with the spectacular view offer perfect distraction and make even a rainy day to a relaxing and rewarding experience. One day we even saw dolphins swim by. Lots of candles and the wood fire in the oven created the perfect atmosphere to wind down from our busy job lives. Thanks for renting this personal space to us.

Super Unterkunft und tolle Lage

Absolutely stunning location - we didn’t want to leave!… The cabin is super cosy, warm with lots of space. Really great place to relax and unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin was spotless with traditional decor and the facilities at the cabin were great (for a couple or a family) Yngve was the perfect host - always a quick response and happy to help with anything. He sent perfect instructions. It was really easy to find the cabin (40 minutes from Tromso centre) and check-in was a breeze. Yngve also helped with great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants etc We felt very safe, warm and welcome. The absolute cherry on top was the hot tub - fabulous under the stars and trees!! We would go back in a heart beat Love this place

Une pépite! Marius a construit de ses mains un nid à la fois épuré et cosy. À 30 minutes de l'aéroport et 45 minutes de Tromsø, pratique pour un séjour en nature, loin de la pollution lumineuse pour attraper les aurores boréales. Un havre de paix finalement assez facile d'accès en transports publics, en anticipant un peu les activités. Marius est très gentil, réactif et serviable. On sent qu'il a mis tout son cœur dans son chalet! Mention spéciale aux spectacles magiques des aurores boréales depuis le jacuzzi! Enchanteur!!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit fantastischer Aussicht, schöner Sauna, und Whirlpool, wir haben es sehr genossen und uns nach jeder Schitour auf das Haus gefreut, einziger Makel: die sehr lange Treppe 138 Stufen, aber das war es Wert . ( Für nicht mehr ganz so mobile Personen aber eher nicht empfehlenswert )

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

Our stay at the cabin was really cozy and comfortable. It had everything that we needed for our stay. The host was really friendly, responsive and proactive for letting us plan ahead in uncertain weather. Most importantly, We got lucky to be able to see northern lights from right outside cabin. The cabin was perfect to calm down and to watch the northern lights. It has really everthing you need (besides Wifi, but wasn‘t necessary for us) and it was so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definetely come back! Svein is a perfect host! He provided lot of information and was really helpful (we had some issues with getting a rental car in Tromsø). Couldn‘t have been better! Thank you so much for hosting us 🥰

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! Really great cabin its much better than photos, very comfortable and well equipped. The views are amazing beautiful mountains and fjord views, and i was surprised that there were a powerful and amazing waterfall right next to the cabin. The cabin location is the best location, here you can start the best epic hikes in the area, also if you need the center of Tromso its a very short drive. Rita is an amazing host it was a pleasure meeting her, she was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I wish i could stayed more and i will definitely visit again.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views that was away from other people and private, but not totally remote. This cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. You could see the Northern Lights on clear nights from inside the cabin, with mountains in the foreground. A great place for photography. The log burner was fantastic with an unlimited supply of logs and the WiFi was great. The cabin is in the region of the Lyngen Alps. Siri was an amazing host keeping us updated on conditions in the area when the weather changed. She let us know when there was a high risk of avalanches, when the road had been temporary closed and when there was no water in the whole area due to an avalanche. She told us where there was a collecting point for everyone locally to get fresh water from and arranged for someone to be there for us. The next day all was fine! This is life in Arctic Norway. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Eva and Inge's. Their Airbnb had everything we needed and more. They were also wonderful hosts. We hope to be back before too long. Thank you!

Très agréable séjour, le logement correspondait totalement à notre attente pour aller skier dans les alentours. Logement agréable et fonctionnel. Très belle vue sur le fjord avec un beau barbecue intérieur.

We had a wonderful time at Maria’s house. Everything was clean and the house was really beautiful. The location was great to explore the area! The communication with her was also very easy and she was very friendly my Highly recommend staying at this incredible place!

Great Hosts, great accommodation! Only thing to keep in mind is that with an EV the next charging station is about half an hour away.

Wir haben zwei sehr angenehme Nächte bei Trine und Stine verbracht. Die Lage ist perfekt zum entspannen und Angeln. Außerdem konnten wir die Sauna und den Whirlpool gegen Gebühr benutzen. Besonders die Sauna mit dem Ausblick auf den Fjord war für uns ein besonderes Erlebnis. Leider fanden wir das Klappsofa (einzige Schlafmöglichkeit) nicht so bequem aber das haben diese Sofas nunmal so an sich. Wir würden bei unserem nächsten Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Excellent place to stay during our ski trip. Would recommend it and look forward to coming back and staying here again!
