Beautiful place with great views. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and plenty of hot water. Cold AC, but up in the mountains the climate is great so it’s not that important. The river is beautiful, but be warned it’s a bit of a trek. It’s about a half mile walk and down about 500ft in elevation. So, people with mobility issues may not be able to get to it. Great stay, I hope to stay again someday!

The treatment of José and his wife Nidia was quality, they are completely authentic people. The place is comfortable, private and quiet. There are good restaurants near the place and there is Gozalandia. I recommend this place 100% for those who want to do roadtrips in the western area of Puerto Rico and need to stay a few nights. I will certainly return not only with my wife but with friends next time

The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and even better than we expected. The private pool and waterfall were a highlight, and the outdoor space felt peaceful and thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the fire pit. it gave us some really special intimate moments. This place was exactly what we needed for a quiet escape. My partner and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and relax. 10/10

My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!! Aviary 1 was a fantastic, clean Airbnb with strong A/C, water pressure, and lots of space. Amarilys was so clear in the directions of getting to the house and sent so many recommendations of places to see in the area. Thank you!!
