Our rustic hut, with stone walls and tropical atmosphere, is in the middle of an Environmental Protection Area – without neighbors, only the Atlantic Forest and its biodiversity. Arriving is already an experience: a short trail (100m) takes you to this paradise with ofurô, sauna and private deck. If you hit the mood for a swim, the Alambari River is right there! A unique refuge to disconnect from the world and reconnect with yourself, in a way that only Serrinha can!

Note: Children up to 5 years old stay free. Children 6-12 years old are charged 20% of the daily rate.

We are located in the Guaratiba region of RJ in a gated community. We have a stove, oven, barbecue and basic cooking utensils.

Guapuruvus County Nest House. Is it a treehouse? Yes and no, a suspended cottage? Yes and no, a cabin? Some kind of nest house? Yeah, maybe so, definitely an experiment, two floors and a ground floor. Almost a predinho.. Resolved to share and make available whenever the demand is for a maximum of 4 people. Lareira, sauna, thermal sheet… next to a river … we do not accept visits without prior permission. We have an extra cottage for the second couple.

Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.
