The space was exactly as pictured. The host was tremendously responsive and hospitable. I came in knowing the hardships Cubans endure so the power outages didn’t surprise or bother me, it’s part of life in Cuba. The space is centrally located in vedado which made it easy to find restaurants, groceries, cigars and cabs. Thank you for a great stay!

Nous ne sommes malheureusement pas resté assez longtemps pour profiter pleinement de ce beau logement. Tout à été refait à neuf mais en gardant l’esprit et le charme traditionnel cubain. L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter La Havane dans un quartier tranquille et notre hôtesse d’une grande disponibilité et parlant français. C’est sûr nous reviendrons!

Staying at Maridely’s and Claudia’s place in Havana was an absolutely incredible experience. As the only guest, I received such warm, personalized hospitality that I felt completely at home from the moment I arrived. Claudia and her husband were truly amazing hosts — kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed. The space was spotless, comfortable, and full of charm, and the location was ideal for exploring Havana. Each morning started with Claudia was always ready with helpful local tips. Traveling solo can sometimes feel isolating, but not here — their hospitality made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the experience and would absolutely stay here again. My stay at Zunilda’s was great. I had nothing to complain about. The loft is beautiful! Just like the pictures. I love the views of Havana and how the terrace can be wide open. I loved that I had the option of fresh air or air conditioning. The restaurants I wanted to visit were not far away. And old Havana was about 8 mins away via taxi. She made my welcome so easy with accommodating a taxi for my arrival. Zunilda also provides a phone. Which was a life savor for my boyfriend and I. Zunilda’s sister, Malaena was amazing as well; she communicated with us, gave us pointers for food and helped us with exchanging money. She also accommodated for our taxi to leave. The two things I was worried about in Cuba was having a cell phone and exchanging money, and Zunilda and Malaena provided that for us, making that worry go away. Thank you so much for having us and we shall return.

Selected this location for its proximity to Fábrica de Arte Cubano but even though the FAC was closed for remodeling we were happy to have found it. Guest area is on the second floor of a big home on the corner of the intersection of two streets with a veranda elevated above the street corner. There were lots of plants and creature comforts at this unit and the housekeeper Belkis was awesome! Though this review rates the property at five stars it's rating is intended to be relative to other properties in the area. So, even though there was some street noise in the rooms at night (nice touch providing the ear plugs) and the common area wasn't air conditioned it was still much nicer than surrounding properties. Thanks for such a nice stay and thanks again for Belkis- she's charming, thorough and attentive!
