Bungalow holiday rentals in Rivière du Rempart District

It was on of the best view i have ever seen! Grand Bay from terrace looks stunning. Our housekeeper Zohra - super kind and friendly woman, who helps a lot with many questions and even has provided us more facilities, then they have been included in the renting :) Immediately after we have arrived and even haven't unpacked our baggages we could go swimming from small/private beach. Room inside has old/atmospheric furniture and you can feel yourself like local people. It was great experience!

Super sejour .Jennifer toujour disponible et attentionné..on a été aux petit soins avec elle.elle nous a fait une tres bonne cuisine..je recommande cette adresse..ainsi que le gardien.qui nous a fait barbecue et nous a fait des jus de noix de coco..je remercie toute l équipe mauricienne.

A beautiful private retreat for our honeymoon. It was the perfect home base for all our travels around the island. You can see both the sunrise and the sunset on the private beach! It was truly paradise on earth. The air conditioning and big hot shower was a wonderful home to come to after full days of adventuring! Laur was our on call host and was so lovely, responsive, and helpful. Veena was the amazing cleaner and chef who made the most delicious fish curry. And Quincy and Veena did a great job keeping the home clean every day. We were very well taken care of.

Grand Gaube is small village thus it is quiet. There is a small playground in front of the house. You can reach the store in 5 minute walk. We also appreciated the grill provided.

I had a great stay at Vijyantimala’s place! The house is very large, has a beautiful terrace, and comes with all the essentials. The location is super convenient, near all the malls, restaurants, supermarkets, and beaches! Vijyantimala was a very kind, responsive, and punctual host!

The Appartement House is ca. 5 walking Minutes off the Beach Road. Bus stop and Supermarket at Beach Road.

Was an awesome week to be in Grand Baie. The house is situated very close to the beach & shops. Nice to be on the busier side of the island. Lots to do. House was nice & clean, air conditioning was working brilliantly, life saver. Cannot recommend Nazi anymore. Thank you for a great week. Will definitely come back.

Great stay here and beaches very accessible. Upon arrival I was met at the accommodation, I was allowed to check in early which helped great due to my arrival time. After a long trip I just needed a good brew. Lo and behold, fresh milk, coffee and tea with water and juice were there waiting for me. Perfect. Clear instructions of what was where. Transfers from the airport all sorted by the host prior to arrival. Secure compound and felt completely safe as I was travelling and stopping solo. Would i recommend…yes. There wasn’t anything I needed during my stay and the place had everything, from pots, pans, to fresh sheets and towels. Absolutely ideal. The pool was nice. Clean and a good temperature. Maintenance’s guy was on top of that most days. I would recommend transport if stopping here although public transport is available, but a secure parking was available. I will definitely be returning.

Can’t believe how hospitable Ameerah was as a host. Not only was she very responsive during interactions, she went above and beyond by offering chauffeur services to her AirBnB location. Additionally, Ameerah’s hospitality was extended with the offering of a local Mauritian SIM card (Orange), traditional Mauritian food (prepared by her mom), and conversation and coffee at a nearby mall. In terms of hosting, Ameerah gets an A+. From the perspective of two adult parents with a small child age four, we found the living accommodations to be well appointed. The attached pool was the perfect size for a four year old who is currently learning to swim. Nearby locales which are accessible by foot include a quaint beach which is, for the most part, family oriented; a Winner’s-brand grocery store (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Winners-Supermarche-Pereybere/261137467302557); quaint restaurants; an ATM and a Change Express Money Changers (www.changeexpress.net) establishment as well as handful of Activity Planner shops. Note some of the activities include car/moped rentals, tours, scuba diving, etc. Word to the wise: a good portion of the “fun” activities require good weather conditions, so plan accordingly. If you are staying at this location, I would advise you to rent a small car or moped as there are interesting places to visit around the island and the use of taxi services can be just as expensive.

hôtes très attentionnés nous avait préparé le repas traditionnel malgré notre arrivée tardive...nous ont informé de l'actualité de l'île au fur et à mesure du séjour (jour férié, magasins fermés...etc) logement conforme et petit plus....la piscine à proximité.... je recommande

Dès la réservation, Ashvin a été très disponible pour répondre à nos interrogations avant même notre voyage. Sa maison est un vrai havre de paix, très intelligemment équipé, décoré et agencé avec beaucoup de goût. Nous nous y sommes senti chez nous très rapidement. tout s'y trouvait : linge de lit, linge de toilette, vaisselle, wifi, salon de jardin au bord de la piscine... En plus d'être très sympathique, Ashvin est un homme pleins de ressources, pleins de bons conseils pour organiser les visites et les activités sur l'ile, de bon conseil pour découvrir la gastronomie locale...un vrai couteau suisse je recommande les yeux fermés.

Very nice villa with privacy, quiet environment and the Pereybere beach a 5 minutes walk away. Ideal to go as a group. You can relax in the pool, cook your own food have a perfect holiday. The villa is hardly 2km away from the Grand Bay area which is a great hangout place. The hospitality was excellent and Mr. Prakash was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Thank you Harris for hosting us. Great place to be, very local to Trou Aix Biches beach and has all the shops you need. Supermarket was 5 mins down the road including a boulangerie (GSR). Harris is a great host always available to help with any help you may need. Living area was big and joint with the kitchen that had a lot of space. The rooms were very spacious with aircon in every single room which you can use as much as you want. Swimming pool was cleaned regularly and was clean to use. Plenty of space to park 2-3 cars if needed. Harris is informative on the area and things you can do (Mauritian experience, not just expensive touristic things). Don’t miss out on this escape!

Wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit in diesem kleinen Paradies direkt am Strand. CheckIn und CheckOut wurden für uns ganz unkompliziert geregelt und überhaupt war der Kontakt mit Laurence und auch Christiane und Desiree La vor Ort ganz entgegenkommend und herzlich. Danke nochmals.
