Holiday rentals with beach access in Riwaka

Such a lovely place to stay. So close to the two beaches, and comfortable, with everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 children. Great beds, and handy to have the washing machine too. We stayed in June, so there weren't many other units booked, so the surroundings and neighborhood was super quiet and peaceful. Of course it must be a lot busier in the summer, but such a handy place to choose for a break away. We hope to return!

Loved our stay here over my birthday weekend - extra thank you for my birthday bottle of wine! Ana is a fantastic host, the space is perfect for two, with the added bonus of a parking space out front. The cupboards had some extra cooking bits in which goes a long way when you’re staying in to cook each night. The bathroom was stocked with loads of loo roll which is an added bonus for an AirBnB! Overall very happy and would highly recommend.

Beautiful apartment with a great location. Matt, Jocelyn and Amanda were all very helpful and kind. We had a great stay and would love to stay here again when in Nelson in the future.

The apartment has a well equipped kitchen and a barbecue. We enjoyed going to the fish market across the street to cook at home. Close proximity to get to Able national Park and wineries.

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

Bob and Koniko were awesome hosts. They were warm and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The arrival instructions were clear and on point and Bob had some great intel on area beaches, restaurants and other attractions. They were promptly responsive to any communications or questions we had and they were accommodating and helpful to a fault when we had any inquiries or requests. The property itself is incredible-very nicely furnished and equipped with a stunning vantage point and view over Pohara Bay and Farewell Spit. The location could not have been more convenient with easy and quick access to beaches, walks, and other amazing destinations such as waterfalls, natural springs, and unreal rock formations. There were several cafes within easy walking distance and Takaka is a 10 minute drive if you're looking for more variety or want to spend a day browsing some very cool and interesting shops and other restaurants and dining options.

What a beautiful location! The home was quite large and perfect for our large family. Vicki was very responsive and kind -a great host. We did arrive to an abnormally cold snap in Nelson, but we're able to warm up with the wood stove in the living room. There were plenty of warm blankets for sleeping. We used the one portable electric heater in the bedroom where we had our infant in a crib (since she couldn't bundle up) and it worked great! We would certainly book again!

A beautiful and very well-equipped house in a wonderful location. Amazing vantage point over the coast. Access is very steep and narrow - in a Toyota RAV we felt that we were right on the edge of the roadway and had a lot of work to turn the car around to get out. The property is very close to Kaiteriteri main beach but removed from all the hustle and bustle. Walkable to several other beaches and a quick drive to Marahau and Motueka (with a good grocery store). Beautifully designed house that opens up to several outdoor spaces to sit and soak up the fabulous views.

fabulous location, so much to do and explore. Hiking along the beach to Collingwood and the Farewell Spit tour were amazing things to do. The home was private and the views of the estuary were always changing and beautiful. It was very windy a few days but it didn't curtail our activities. The home stays warm when sunny and there are a few sand flies that like to bite but again, nothing too annoying! A well equipped kitchen, great comfortable beds, and clean overall made it a very pleasant place to be. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the house was beautiful and quiet. The house was clean, airy, and bright with high ceilings and lots of windows and surrounded by mountains and greenery. It was only a short walk to the beach and a great central location from which to explore the Golden Bay and Abel Tasman area. We discovered a community playground just 1 or 2 minutes from the house which was a big hit with our grandchildren. We enjoyed Molly B’s for afternoon drinks and meals. Highly recommend.

Caroline’s home is spectacular for so many reasons! She has a beautiful home inside and out and the decor was top notch! Caroline was a very gracious and welcoming host … will definitley be back!!! Thank you Caroline we truly appreciate you!

Amazing house in Glenduan. Beautifully decorated old Villa, nice and cosy with the warm fireplace and an amazing view. Very thoughtful host offering hot water bottles on a cold evening and very good communication. would definitely come back to stay here again.
