Holiday houses in Rocca Ripesena

One of the cutest Airbnbs we've ever stayed at! Beautiful inside and out - the view from the white table outside is incredible - it is absolutely bliss to look out on when you're having a morning coffee or evening wine! Sabrina was a wonderful host, who gave excellent directions to meet her and get to the apartment, and there was a lovely gift basket of snacks and wine, which was much appreciated after a long day of train and bus travel :) We would 100% recommend staying here if you're visiting Orvieto. Grazie mille Sabrina!

We had a wonderful time and would have loved to stay longer. The accommodation is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The trees and the sun umbrella provide enough shade on the private terrace, even in hot August, so that you can relax wonderfully. Susanna and her husband were only present on the first evening, afterwards her son Federico. Nevertheless, Susamma gave us a delicious cake as a welcome gift on the morning of her departure. Federico was very kind, helpful and respectful and we had a lovely time drinking wine together. During the day we were alone at the property and enjoyed the wonderfully clean pool. The surrounding area is beautiful with its hilly vineyards. Orvieto is very easy to reach by car in 15 minutes and is definitely worth a visit too! A lovely old Italian town with a beautiful cathedral and nice restaurants. Susanna and Federico were great hosts, we would love to come back!

Silivia's place is in the heart of old town and a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the are quite a bit and will definitely stay at Silvia's on our next visit. She is extremely responsive and goes above and beyond to be helpful with recommending restaurants to arranging car services - such an amazing host!

Wir waren sieben Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und Maurizio hilfsbereit und der Empfang herzlich (inklusive Kuchen). Das Haus und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, man hat einen tollen Blick in die Landschaft und kann kleine Wanderungen vom Haus aus machen. Auf der Terrasse gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten, in der Sonne und im Schatten von Bäumen. Supermärkte und Orvieto sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Empfehlenswert sind Ausflüge nach Bolsena und Civitia di Bagnoregio, die innerhalb einer halben Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar sind. Leider konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, da das Wetter noch zu kühl war. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We returned to La Carotta for the second time in 3 years and spent a fantastic 10 days in Bardo’s beautiful home. Bardo is an extremely forthcoming host and a lovely person, while the house itself is equipped with everything one might need and its peaceful setting overlooking Orvieto is second to none. We will definitely return in the future and would like to thank Bardo for the brilliant holiday!

Appartamento privato all’interno di una splendida villa a 15 minuti in auto da Orvieto. Pulito, accogliente e immerso in un bellissimo giardino. La colazione, buonissima, viene preparata tutta da loro (marmellate di diverso tipo, crostate, pane e pure le fette biscottate), oltre a tutto il resto. I proprietari sono super gentili e disponibili a dare consigli su dove mangiare, trovare prodotti locali e muoversi nella zona. C’è anche la possibilità di fare una degustazione dei loro vini. Abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte, ma se avessimo avuto più tempo, lo avremmo sicuramente trascorso da loro.

A friendly and helpful host who made us feel truly welcomed. The apartment is cozy, perfectly located, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It really felt like a home away from home.

Un alloggio fantastico nel cuore di Orvieto, vicino ad ogni necessità culturale e non e con una vista splendida. Al suo interno l’ambiente è caldo e accogliente, la pulizia e i servizi che offre sono impeccabili (cucina spaziosa, camera da letto estremamente comoda, bagno RILASSANTE) e moderni. Chiara inoltre è un’host fantastica, alla mano e sempre reperibile. La casa è dotata di wi-fi. Se dovessimo ritornare sceglieremmo ancora la casetta di Chiara!
