While there's many rustic features the cottage is also clean and tidy with wifi, smart tv and gas log fire, Bedding is comfy and it's warm in winter and cool in summer with thick walls. Rest in a self contained cottage in Bathurst. It's located next to the house originally built around 1950's. A stylish cottage with kitchen area, bathroom with a washing machine and a dryer, a queen sized bed, and even a sofa bed (which is normally a sofa, you can also use it as a double sized bed). Pls let us know in advance if you need to use it. 1 Car Off-street parking in front of the cottage provided. 1 block to a cafe, a few minutes drive to shops, Bathurst Golf Club and CSU.

This is a generous 6 bedroom home with two living areas and three bathrooms. There is plenty of space inside and out, set on 25 acres. We can sleep up to 22 people on request. There is a heated pool and tennis court, pool table, ping pong table (in garage), toys for the kids. We have TV, a fire place indoor and a fire pit outside and a large BBQ. There is ducted heating & cooling all year round. We have chickens you can feed and the Kangaroos, Sheep and Cows are never far away.

We had a wonderful stay at Lexden in Bathurst. The property was absolutely beautiful—immaculately presented, spacious, and full of character. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The attention to detail in every room made for a very comfortable and luxurious experience. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were cosy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the garden was a peaceful spot to unwind. The location was also ideal—close to the centre of town but tucked away enough to enjoy some quiet and privacy. We highly recommend Lexden to anyone visiting Bathurst and would love to return on our next trip. Thank you for a memorable stay!

This Airbnb is very worthwhile. The amenities and location were perfect. Josephine and Scott were wonderful hosts and put a lot of thought into the stay. The location is very peaceful with a great view. The Airbnb was super clean and had everything needed, with thought out decor and styling. It is a perfect place for a getaway. We had a wonderful stay at Wilga Station. The home was beautifully decorated and the view was stunning. Hamish was a fabulous host and responded quickly to every enquiry and gave detailed instructions for check in and great recommendations for nearby restaurants and towns to visit. The sparkling wine and eggs and bacon for breakfast with delicious freshly baked sour dough was a lovely touch. As was the stacked fire pit and fire place . I highly recommend a short getaway here.

We had an amazing stay at Sue and Adam’s place. They were incredibly responsive, helpful, and friendly throughout our visit, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The home was spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The views were absolutely spectacular—probably the best we’ve ever seen. It was so peaceful and private, and we were even lucky enough to witness a light snowfall, which made the experience even more magical. The location was perfect, and the check-in process was smooth and convenient, even late at night. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway, and I really hope to return someday.

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful secluded spot. I'd love to go back in warmer seasons to enjoy the private beach and fire pit, to explore the bush a bit more, and to sit outside on the deck with a book. Even with the freezing wet weather, it was cosy inside. I really appreciated the quiet and the seclusion. The bath was heavenly. The mattress was a bit too firm, but that is personal taste. And please do heed the listing - the track in definitely needs four wheel drive. This place was an absolute find - thank you Andre for making this place available, and special.

Absolutely in love with this house, if you are visiting Bathurst for a few days or more this is the place to stay, easy walking distance to everything you need but also quiet and peaceful. The house is warm and cosy and perfect on those cold winter days and nights, the kitchen has everything you could want and sufficient glasses ( how many properties sleep 6 but have 4 wine glasses?)for all your guests! We think the house must be relatively new as it is so good!
