Cabin holiday rentals in Rockwood

Amanda's cabin was the perfect place for our getaway to Greenville, ME. It was such a great setting overlooking Moosehead lake. Such a peaceful and relaxing getaway and just a few minutes from downtown and the local restaurants and outfitters.

We had a short and quiet stay at Diane's cabin south of Moosehead Lake. We arrived to find the place lit up for us - it's remote and pretty dark - and spotless. Perfect for our needs.

We had a great stay! Our only regret is we didn't stay another night or 2! Diane did an amazing job making us feel welcome and right at home when we checked it. Beautiful cabin, comfortable beds and a perfect Maine retreat... We WILL be back.

Overall a incredibly lovely place to stay. WiFi worked well and was fast which is definitely a must considering there is no cell service in that area. We mainly stayed in and at the AirBNB for the trip but there’s plenty to do around in the area if that’s more your fancy. Everything was neat and tidy, clean for when we arrived. Decor, vibes, and general aesthetic and atmosphere of the house was great too.

Great looking cabin, plenty of dining space, some Mountain View’s, and close proximity to Sugarloaf was a plus.

Definitely would book again love the place and everything

Nick's cabin is wonderful! It is large, sunny, cozy, clean, and comfortable and it had everything we needed for a very fun weekend. The living area easily fit 6 of us and the hot tub and fireplace were amazing after some cold days of xc skiing and hiking. The only problem we had was the hot water, which went out several times. The management company sent a caretaker/technician out within an hour each time to address the problem; they were polite and helpful and able to reset the hot water heater for us. Thank you for having us; I hope we'll be back!

Plenty of space, cozy, plenty of fabulous blankets and towels, and inviting!

Christina and Greg are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed meeting them and their pups. We've made new friends! Our stay at Knotty Pine Trailside Cabins was like staying with family. Their cabins are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We plan to stay with them again when we make visits to our home town. Thank you, Christina and Greg for a wonderful experience.

We spend two days at the cabin and driving around the surrounding towns. The scenery was amazing and returned to find 4 deer running through the area in front of the driveway. Things in the surrounding towns seem to be closed on Monday and Tuesday but when open everyone was so friendly and helpful. They were happy to talk about their town and how much they loved to live there. Brian was so helpful and responded to messages right away with helpful information. We are already planning our next trip up.

We enjoyed our stay at the Adventure Base Camp and might come back for a longer visit in the future. the location was great, the house was cozy and if it hadn't been raining, we would have spent some time around the fire pit.

Can't beat the location, walking to restaurant's and the snowmobile trail right at your front door. This is ideal for snowmobiling. Their is enough room to park a 3 place trailer on the side of the house as well as 2 places for a 2 place trailer. Super clean, all the essentials, washer/dryer. Their is no basement, this is 2 levels with a loft up stairs that has too sleeping areas. One at the back and one at the front, but this is a loft so no doors or walls. The loft overlooks the whole down stairs. Their is one master bedroom on the first floor that is full size bedroom. Rafal was super attentive to getting back to us with answers and any questions. For snowmobiling this is the best of all worlds - walking to restaurants, trail at your front door.

This place is so special!! Thank you so much for making us feel at home with the snacks, water bottles, coffee, and chocolates… we were blown away at the hospitality! We loved walked down to the babbling brook with coffee and would love to come back!💛

The cabin was awesome. Lindsey was great and extremely quick with responses. My only suggestion would be to have some written directions for the road as are our GPS was struggling to locate the place at night, but still not difficult. Place had everything we needed, great water activities, and neighbors were awesome too. Would 100% rebook.

The cabin was a great space to get away for the long weekend. The place is truly in the middle of no where and is great if you are looking to get away from people. Make sure you have a car that can go through mud and potholes tho. The owners were very responsive and gave clear instructions so you’d know what to expect upon arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Was a great stay. Our group of 8 enjoyed ourselves very well snowmobiling and ice fishing.

My friend and I decided to rent the cabin to celebrate graduating, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. The place is so cute—right on the water with a beautiful scenic drive. All the views up there are amazing, and it’s not a bad ride into Greenville either. Jordyn is very responsive and very nice! I would absolutely rent it again!

Tracey's place was perfect for our needs. Tracey provided clear instructions to access the property and was communicative during the stay. Tracey was also flexible with the change in dates I required. Absolutely would stay again if in the area.

Willy’s Cabin was so peaceful and beautiful. For such a big lake, there’s really not a lot of noise or boat traffic. It’s a camp, so don’t expect the Ritz, but with the lake right outside the door you’re really not spending a lot of time in there. The shower was hot and the water pressure was great. The bed was super comfy. We had a little hiccup getting in because there’s a lock box outside the door that the code didn’t work on. The correct lock box can’t be seen until you open the screen door. Mild heart attack, but crisis was averted. Greenville is a cute little town a half hour away. Everything was as it should be and we were comfortable and happy all weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

I can't praise Kristina highly enough! My wife and I spent five wonderful days at her cabin and we were sorry to leave. Everything was perfect—cozy, spotless interior; excellent location right near Moosehead lake and a variety of restaurants and hiking trails; gorgeous surroundings with a fire pit and dock. But what really made this trip extraordinary was Kristina herself. She was an incredible hostess! She and her husband David offered us a tour of Moosehead, took us fishing, and even helped us clean and cook our catch. Rarely have I met Airbnb hosts who were so helpful, friendly, and kind. We can't wait to go back!

Although the weather was overcast and cold, we enjoyed spending the time in the cottage. Would loved to have used the gas fireplace for a more cozy atmosphere but it was prohibited. The place is dog friendly which is always appreciated. Had all the amenities needed including a new outdoor griddle. Next time we would rent during the summer months to enjoy being on the water.

Paul’s cabin is the perfect get away in the beautiful Moosehead Lake region!! His cabin is so beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience! We brought our side by side and rode on all the trails we could while there…It was awesome! Paul was very quick with answering any questions we had as well. Thank you again for opening up your place to us!
