Cabin holiday rentals in Rocky Mountains

The six of us stayed at Elevation 40 and loved it! We were initially wondering why the host kept emphasizing that a 4x4 was absolutely necessary. The road itself is in great condition, but near the house there are a few sharp turns that are incredibly steep. It’s impossible to get up there with front- or rear-wheel drive. Our Ford Expedition Max showed an incline of 19 degrees! Definitely not for the faint of heart ;-) Unbelievable views, an excellent and responsive host. We absolutely loved this unforgettable stay at Elevation 40.

Zion A Frame was an excellent place to stay. Fantastic sunset views from the deck and hot tub. Very comfortable bed! Very convenient to both Zion and Bryce National Parks. Loved that they had a good amount of spices on hand in the kitchen. We would definitely stay there again. Host was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was good. The new Blackstone grill was great for grilling out!

The cabin was cute and cozy, with beautiful surroundings. Very calming and relaxing.

We loved our stay at this cabin! Surprised my fiancé for a birthday weekend and we were so impressed by how intentional Marlena is with her space! We felt super comfy and our dog seemed completely at ease as well. We’d definitely stay again and greatly appreciate how welcoming and communicative Marlena was the entire time. Highly recommend :)

We stayed for a couple days with our two pups at Kirk’s place and it was a lovely stay! The place looks exactly liked the pictures and all the amenities like the hot tub and fire-pit were well appreciated. It’s a gorgeous place and we hope to be back someday.

We rented this cabin for a quick weekend getaway into the mountains, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is remote and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery—exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was spotless, and the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. We did have a minor issue with the bed frame on the first night, but Marlena was incredibly responsive and helpful in resolving it quickly. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the fireplace! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and recharge in nature. Cripple Creek didn't disappoint as we saw furry friends including the donkeys and the free roaming cows!

I truly have no words to describe how perfect this place is. My husband, pup and I needed a much needed escape from the city, and that’s exactly what we got! The little details sprinkled throughout the A-Frame are so precious, it’s as adorable as it looks. And the views!!!! Marlena was so kind checking on us, and the perfect gift we received during our stay—chef’s kiss! We are already looking to stay again, and I truly cannot wait. Thank you so, so, so much!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moose Cabin. The peaceful and private space allowed us to completely disconnect and cook some amazing food. Plenty of outdoor adventures around to keep us busy and the perfect home atmosphere to wake up and sip coffee and then wine down with a fire and sit in the sauna in the evenings. We left well rested with plenty of memories.

Great place to disconnect and unwind. Space was very clean and bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the deck space with seating options. Space was stocked with plates, silverware, mugs, french press, grill utensils, pot and fry pan. The outdoor shower option was nice for rinsing off after a hot day. Porto potty was very clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. Overall very nice stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Jacquie’s home. The scenery was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, serene, and the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The home itself was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, with everything we needed to feel right at home. Jacquie was a thoughtful and responsive host, which made the whole experience even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to return in the future!

It was a wonderful place for me and my girlfriend to stay. It was peaceful each morning waking up. And it had a lovely atmosphere overall. Nice and tidy when we got there which made the drive up feel more than worth it. Overall it was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to many people.

This stay was an absolute gem! Waking up to the gorgeous water and mountains was a dream. There are so many spots at this place where you can enjoy the views from every angle, a private picnic table on the rocks overlooking the water, lawn chairs, a sauna, the deck, everything about this place was so well thought out to give the most serene and peaceful experience!

We enjoyed our stay at the loft house. Drew and Tara were super flexible and accommodating to our needs. The location is a nature lover’s dream, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful views right from the window. We grilled steaks or evening and it was so lovely to eat outdoors in that beautiful scenery. The space itself is beautifully designed—clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of cozy, aesthetic touches that made it feel both inviting and serene. You can tell a lot of care went into creating a calm and inspiring atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the deck or relaxing inside with a book, it’s the perfect place to slow down and recharge. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape into nature without sacrificing comfort or style!

This trip would not have been as amazing if I had not booked a stay at The Botanist Cabin. It was just as described and more! Kelly ensured we’d be prepped and comfortable for our stay. The thoughtfulness of having a guide put together with food recommendations and insight to possible activities was very touching. I can be quite the anxious traveler, but Kelly being the wonderful Host/human she is definitely eased my worries. Thank you for a stress free relaxing getaway! 10/10 if you are thinking about it—-book this beautiful space and experience the MAGIC!

This lovely hideaway is everything! It is my version of glamping but even moreso. This is exactly as described and is the ultimate hideaway. It is completely private. We stayed for 1 night as we passed through the area but I wish we had more time. The outhouse for the washroom is no different than expected especially for those who are used to camping and road tripping. It is a washroom minus the flush so do not let this deter you. The outdoor shower was everything!!!! And if not for the wilderness I would have slept outside on that hammock LOL The cabin has the perfect amount of space needed for 2. The loft room is spacious with plenty of head room. The wood burning stove is perfect for the space. It never smoked out and is easy to use. The space is authentically decorated, inviting and cozy. The hostess Franziska is so lovely and accommodating. If you need anything she is there! Thank you so much for offering this space. It embodies the beautiful island of Victoria. All the best!

I booked Dave’s place as a special getaway gift for my daughter and her partner. I’m 69 and made a mistake on the checkout date, but Dave was incredibly kind and allowed them to rebook an extra night. What they found was nothing short of a dream. They described it as a fairytale brought to life—surrounded by beauty, peace, and thoughtful touches in every corner. I received photos of them swinging under the trees, cozy by the most charming little fireplace—it brought tears to my eyes. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience, a little piece of heaven crafted with love. This place was amazing! Truly a hidden gem, sage canyon is a beautiful area, and the scenery from the cabin was breathtaking. Highly recommend to any nature lovers.
