For the short story, my little family and I lived in the Mobile home for a year while building our house. 1 year vacation woken up by cicadas and birdsong. A real joy. There is a large garden area with a ruin to rehabilitate. The grounds are not fenced (beware of pets). Our house is below the accommodation. Proximity to beautiful wineries, Pont Royal golf course, hikes and Aix en Provence

Gaëlle’s place was lovely. The outdoor area was absolutely beautiful and better than the pictures. We only spent 2 days but there is so much to explore in the surrounding areas which makes it a great location to come back to and relax by the pool. We had a small hiccup when we first arrived trying to locate her place, but luckily Gaëlle was right behind to help us. She was very kind and really wanted to make us feel at home. I will say to use caution when pulling into the entrance of the driveway - especially at night. It is a narrow opening.

House in the countryside in Aix-en-Provence

Catherine and Thierry’s is the most perfect place! The house is well equipped and comfortable, with plenty of seating inside and outside. You get morning sun around the breakfast table and evening sun around the pool - a perfect combination. The pool itself is fantastic - really clean, well looked after and a great size. Plus a covered area with bed and hammock next to the pool if you need shade. The views from the house are fabulous - just countryside all around. In the grounds, Catherine and Thierry have goats, chickens and tortoises - which our kids loved feeding. Rognes itself is great, with excellent bakeries and a couple of lovely restaurants. But best of all - Catherine and Thierry are just such wonderful hosts! So friendly, helpful and there if you need them, and just all round lovely people - it was a such pleasure to meet them!
