When I book Laura's place I had quite high expectations due to the many good references but I also was quite curious. At the end is was even better than expected. The place is as described and close to the city center and Laura is a lovely and interesting person. Great cook and full of interesting stuff to talk about. I just can recommend her as a great host.

I had a nice stay in Florence with Laura! Not in the heart of the city, but in a quiet and tranquil district nearby with the bus. I recommend!

Laura was a fantastic host and provided us with one of the most memorable and welcoming air bnb experiences this far in our journey. Her welcome soup is phenomenal and her hospitality is on par. The beds were comfy and spacious and the house is located near a great gelato place and a supermarket. Very easy to reach by bus as well. Highly recommend!

Laura was an outstanding host and made my first AirBnB experience very pleasant. She was kind enough to make me her "welcome soup" the evening that I checked in and also gave many great recommendations to sightsee and get around the town. Laura was kind, polite, and very helpful. I truly enjoyed her company. The neighborhood was quite safe and very quiet, however it was a little further from the city centre than I would have preferred to stay. I was in a pinch to book a last minute Airbnb for four nights, so this was my only option. You can easily take the bus to get to the centre. The stop is only a 5-10 minute walk and the ride is 10-20 minutes depending on where you're going. It really was not too much trouble at all, however the busses don't run very late into the evening, so if you plan to stay out like I did, you'd have to book a taxi or walk back (taxis seemed less available than in other cities during the evening). My walks back at night were nice, and I definitely felt very safe. However, after a long day of sightseeing, a 45-60 minute walk wasn't always what I wanted to do. I will say that being on that side of the river and a little ways from everything, provided a greater insight into local life in Florence, including other restaurants and bars where locals and less tourists hang out. As for the space, everything was as described and was very clean. Laura does have a cat, but Pucca is friendly and she doesn't not allow him into the guest bedroom. Laura provided amenities like clean towels, water bottles, feminine hygiene products, etc. that were much appreciated. Although I had no trouble with any mosquitoes, I hear that can be problematic in the summertime, so it was nice to have a mosquito net around my bed. Laura's taste is quite eclectic, with lots of decorations and a guest room that was clearly her daughter's, but her home is definitely cozy and I felt very welcome during my stay. Thank you, Laura, for making my first visit to Florence a memorable one!

Laura is very kind and helpful! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's a little outside the city center but a bus can get you there quickly.
