I am an ex-consultant turned student / entrepreneur and investor.
In my free time I enjoy outdoor pursuits and stand up comedy.
I am passionate about the "sharing economy" and freeing up underutilized assets for others to enjoy. Airbnb has been a fantastic experience. I wish it was around when I was on the road almost every week for 10 years as a consultant. Marriott platinum status was nice but I would have preferred to stay in places with more soul.
As a host, I particularly enjoy all the wonderful thank you notes I receive from guests.
Founded a company summer 2014 to help other homeowners: Nauset Rental. Brief Description:
I’ll never forget the summer i spent side by side with my grandmother in the warm sun on cape cod re-roofing her home. When she fell ill and needed to rent it to pay for her assisted living I thought I’d be the hotshot grandson levering what I learned in the consulting industry to get the job done. I ended up spending my precious weekends working for renters while my friends hit the beach.
Imagine a world where families could enjoy their vacation homes without any work or risk AND have them pay for themselves through rentals. Our startup is building a technology enabled vacation rental management service for private homes.
We lever an innovative digital marketing platform built at MIT to connect high quality tenants with authentic vacation homes. We are growing quickly. And for owners: We are putting the vacation back in vacation homes.
