We call our loft apartment "Harlem Hearth". It's the most spacious loft in the area with soaring 15-foot ceilings, one giant 40-foot long living space, and a two-tiered sleeping wing in the back. It's also "Harlem Hearth" because it has three fireplaces and exposed brick throughout the unit. Explore Manhattan during the day and come back to your home and hearth each evening for a night-cap and a quiet, peaceful night's rest. You better sleep, because you have do it all again in the morning!
The loft sleeps eight to ten with two, dedicated sleeping areas that sleep up to five people. The massive common area can accommodate an additional five people.
You have the place to yourself. Chris and I will be staying one floor below you should you have any questions or concerns.
Other things to note
As a loft space, this is an open-concept floorplan. The great thing about a loft is that everyone gets to share all of the space, but that means there are no doors separating the sleeping areas. The only doors inside the apartment are the bathroom doors. However, at more than 1,300 square feet, the loft offers multiple corners to get some alone time.
Personally, I love the open-concept floorplan. I have hosted several groups of family and friends here and it worked great. The open layout truly fosters a sense of togetherness.
