If Giulio's place is available for your stay in Florence, grab it!! This is a bright, open, beautifully decorated art deco apartment. We were so impressed, we even brought one of our tour guides in to see it. She has a background in furniture restoration so she pointed out the uniqueness of some of the pieces. I cant imagine a more equipped kitchen in any other AirBnB. I was surprised to find out that the owner was not a professional chef. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are modern and attractive. The air conditioning works great, which we found is not always the case in Europe. The technology/entertainment features are top notch. Giulio is a great host answering all of my questions prior to arrival. Arlene was waiting for us outside when our taxi pulled up so check-in went smoothly. The location of the apartment is good. The Oltrarno has many wonderful neighborhood restaurants and is away from the crowds. The Piazza del Carmine was under construction, so we did not see it at its best, but that did not take away from our stay. We would highly recommend this apartment.
Giulio's apartment is absolutely stunning and beautiful. My family (3 adults and 2 small children) stayed fo seven nights and had a wonderful time. The apartment is located in a wonderful and central neighborhood. The check-in process and daily housekeeping made it feel like a hotel experience inside a beautiful apartment. I would highly recommend staying there.
A great house / apartment in Central Florence within walking distance to all the amazing sights. From here we explored Cinque Terrre, Siena, San Gimignano and Florence. Highly recommended for families. Giulio was a great host and daily friendly housekeeping willing to help our family with any request
Giulio was an excellent host. The apartment is very tastefully done. It is extremely comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We had two small kids aged 5 and 8 and they loved going up and down the stairs. Although one has to be a bit careful at times. The kitchen is very well equipped and Guilio set us up with basic groceries when we arrived. He also assisted us with our luggage. Oltarno is a fabulous area with lots of restaurants within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. There is a very well stocked grocery store 2 minutes away. Going to the Duomo area is a mere 10 mins walk. It's actually nice to be in the oltarno area which is local as compared to the overcrowded tourist areas Overall a memorable trip in a lovely place.
This apartment was perfect, in the historic district within a 15 minute walk of the Ponte Vecchio. It had some great little bars and restaurants around the Piazza along with a mini market. There was nothing more I could have asked for in an apartment, we were a group of friends celebrating our 40ths, the apartment gave us plenty of room and space to catch up, eat and have a few drinks before heading out. Guilio had left some essentials to start our stay along with some great tips of where to eat, maps etc. We couldn't have asked for more and we would definitely go back.
We came to Florence to visit our son who was studying abroad. Giulio's apartment was amazing, he met us there, helped us with our luggage, gave us recommendations and filled the fridge with some basics to start us off. The apartment was clean, beautiful and centrally located to all the museums and other attractions. I would recommend this to all who plan to visit Florence. If we make it back again this is where we will stay again.
