PROS: The directions to the place was good and enough. The area of the apartment is also in a nice area, not touristic but Italians around. they have not told us but there is a street market right in front on Sundays. The railway is just behind the apartment that can take you to central city anytime. There are various supermarkets around the house. CONS: The furnitures are extremely old and lifetime used. Those white good-looking sofas on the pictures do not exist in the house. The dishwasher in the apartment was not working. We had to download the manuel of the machine from internet thinkingg if we're doing something wrong. But no, the machine was broken somehow. So we had to wah the dishes ourselves by hand our whole stay. Hot water in the bathroom also had problems on its own, since we had to take cold shower sometime or hot water finished in the middle of shower! We told and informed the owner about the problems but no help was provided. They said they're ok, had no problems, maybe something happened on weekend etc... but it has not fixed by saying so. There were also no remote controls for the aircondition in the house but been provided the next day. I was completely unhappy with our stay in this apartment. I do not suggest anybody.

Albina was fantastic! She was waiting for us at the apartment and gave us a few things to have after a long flight. The taxi was waiting for us, as promised, at the airport and the trip was great. The apartment could not being better, less than 5 minutes away from the Tram, that took you to downtown Rome, a small supermarket outside the building and a Fair on Sunday morning! In Trastevere there are some great restaurants, so our trip was great from start to finish! Grazie mille!

We stayed at Riccardos place for 3 weeks prior to moving into our long term rental in Rome. Both Ricardo and Albina were very helpful prior to our arrival and throughout our stay. We were met by Albina for an earlier check in, and promptly shown around the apartment, shown how to use the facilities and left a contact number in case of any issues. The apartment was pretty much as shown in pics and description-altho the lounge did feel sightly more dated due to the amount of built in cupboards but was perfectly fine for our stay. There are 2 large bedrooms with aircon and one tiny room without aircon - we used this for our baby to stay in but had to purchase a fan as it was too hot for her to sleep in (we stayed in August and it showed around 30 degrees in that room most nights!) Kitchen was fully equipped to see us fed for our stay... Most things provided which enabled me to cook meals in the apartment. (Some I've stayed in in Rome had facilities to heat not cook!) Lounge has 2 sofa beds (we didn't use!) tv, dining table and free wifi! Perfect for watching Netflix- not many English channels on Italian terrestrial tv! Location is great, 5 mins to tram, under 10 to trastevere station, supermarket and cafe below (delicious donuts!) as well as plenty more within a few minute walk. Riccardo and Albina were great hosts- we had 2 issues during our stay- the shower holder wouldn't hold the shower and the light in the hall way blew, both items were fixed up within a day. Would recommend the apartment to all, family friendly (unlike many apartments in Rome, my stroller -Phil &teds sport double - fit in the lift without taking the children out or wheels off! 58cm wide), great location!

Riccardo gave us a great welcome - after showing us round the flat, he sat us down with a map of Rome and gave us great tips on where to visit and when. This is a very spacious and well-organised apartment even for 5-6 people. It's also walking distance from Trastevere (centre of great nightlife, food) while still being in a peaceful part of the neighbourhood - just what you need after a busy day of sightseeing. The area is very well-connected - we got to the Coliseum within 20 mins, for example. Great value, comfortable beds (probably the best sofa-bed I've tried), responsive and flexible hosts.

Due to unforseen circumstances we had to look for another place to stay in Rome only 14 hours before we left for Rome. Through Airbnb we found this marvelous apartment in Trastevere. Close to station Trastevere and other public transport. Supermarkets and other shops are close by. On Sunday mornings there is a large fleemarket in the street, which you should absolutely visit. Albella, who is our contact, reacted very quickly to our request if the apartment was available, thus we could leave for Rome, knowing we had a place to sleep. She also made arrangement for our transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment. She had lots of information about Rome which was very useful to us. Thanks to her quick reply and help we had a wonderful time in Rome. Next time we will definitly rent this or another that is managed by her!

Albina met us at the flat. She was very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Albina took time to explain good areas to eat as well drawing on a map bus routes, trams etc to get to certain places in Rome. The flat itself was comfortable and situated within 15mins walking distance of the lively area of trastevere ( or a tram took 5mins). Also the coffee in the flat was fantastic.

Clean, confortable and very good location. Rodolfo's recommendations on what to see besides the typical tourist circuit were great! We highly recommend this place
