My husband, a friend and I shared this rental for 12 days. It's an adorable, historic home in a great location near UC-Boulder, or just a 15 minute walk to the Pearl Street downtown area. It had all the promised amenities, absolutely everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and high quality. Very clean and well-stocked. They have a beautiful butterfly garden and back patio, and a lovely front porch to enjoy the weather. Lawrie and Bob are great hosts! We highly recommend this place!

Lawrie and Bob were wonderful hosts . They were extremely responsive to questions we had both prior to departure and while we were in Boulder. The house is charming and well maintained , with a master bedroom on the first floor (very comfortable for two) and another bedroom in the basement ( fine for sleeping). The house is beautifully decorated , Bobs photography (which adorns some walls) is breathtaking, the outside patio is a great place to hang out, and the location could not have been better - within walking distance to the Pearl Street mall as well as campus. It was also reassuring to know that in Bob and Lawrie's absence there was a back up person we could call should the need arise. Bob and Lawtie have clearly put much thought into how to make their guests feel at home. The rental fee is very fairly priced and if we should ever return to Boulder and need a place to stay, Bob and Lawrie are the first people we would contact . Thanks for everything !

I was very happy with this house! It was in the perfect location for us. Trails only blocks away, downtown a short bike ride. Great front porch for coffee in the mornings, and the patio is wonderful for hanging out or dining. The only caveat is that the house was not friendly for my allergies--lots of carpeting and the basement bedroom is definitely a basement. But that is my issue, folks without indoor allergies won't even think about that. Lawrie was quick to respond to questions. The hosts called me midway through our visit to ask if I had any concerns. Overall a great experience!

Response from Lawrie:
Front Range air averages low humidity (15-20%) and can be dusty in hot weather. Also the air in August was getting smoky from all the western forest fires. We have a contract with Stanley Steemer. Our housekeeper cleaned in between the previous renter departing and Cathi arriving (same day). Regardless, we appreciate Cathi's comments and are planning on replacing the carpeting with light hardwood floors.
