Martin's cabin is in a fabulous location and was the perfect place to stay. It's an easy walk down to the Zig Zag river and a great base camp for exploring the Mt Hood area, or just relaxing in the hot tub.

Martin and his place are awesome! Martin was very accommodating. The cabin was the epitome of the Danish term "hygge." ((SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) that s***). From the epic record collection and player, to the rustic wood cabin smell, to the claw foot tub, it is everything you could ask for in a cabin getaway. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this cozy cabin - just ahead of the great American eclipse 2017! The location is perfect as you are surrounded by trees, and while you can see a couple of other cabins, it does still feel very private. The hot tub was a highlight as was the log fire (we still appreciated the warmth in the evening even in August!). Don't expect a spotless cabin. There is certainly a shabby chic charm to the place and it does smell a little damp. The charm wins you over however so we are happy to reccomend this property. Check out the Sky Bar and Grill down the road and take hiking gear - see if you can find your way to the fallen log over the river!

Perfect location for our wedding night! So glad I cancelled the downtown suite. For a third of the price, we had an entire cabin stocked with supplies, an outdoor hottub and private deck, wood burning fireplace, candlelit dinner, so much more. The place has so much charater. Records, books, games, firepit, river. We wish we could live there! The Zigzag river and restaurant were a nice morning surprize. We hope to be back soon.

The house was quaint and comfortable. It had everything we could possibley need and was very romantic. The hot tub was a wonderful added feature as was the smaller details like the record player and clawed tub! Would definitely recommend staying here if you want a quality cabin while in the mt hood area!
