The villa, first and foremost, was great. Very clean, very spacious, has all the amenities. A few things to note, however. The instructions on how to use the safe and home entertainment system was all in Dutch. We ended up using one safe the entire time, which was kind of annoyin…

Response from Cees:
Fauna Curacao The fact that Curaçao has a dry climate has ensured that only trees and plants with a high degree of adaptability can thrive on the island. The animals that have developed on Curacao have also been able to adapt to the severe living conditions prevailing on the lower winds. The animals and plants on Curacao live in a spectacular landscape. There are 20 different species of reptiles crawling on Curacao. Both lizards and snakes find their natural habitat on Curacao. The most imaginative lizard is the green iguana. Green iguanas are stately animals and can take enormous proportions. Green iguana is also called tree chickens on Curacao. They seem to be very tasty and therefore often disappear in the stew or soup. In the airspace of the island, 168 different species of birds continue to flutter. On Curacao there are always mosquitoes, this is once the climate and can not be avoided. There are only clear periods of more mosquitoes than normal. Especially during the rainy season, from September to the end of December, there will be relatively more mosquitoes. When it's getting dark, most mosquitoes come and you'll hear them at home too.
