Events (available now): For now, this listing is really meant for events, not for vacation rentals. Pricing can vary dramatically (higher or even lower) depending on your event, number of people, time needed, activity, etc., so we'll need to discuss your event. Rest assured, I'm eager to work with you to help you achieve your goals, particularly for events (artistic and otherwise) that respect/promote this awesome home!
Vacation rentals (available soon): we've had so many inquiries about vacation rentals that we're working to make this possible. We are currently making a number of enhancements to our place to try to anticipate the needs and desires of our overnight guests. We hope to have our home ready for vacation rentals by sometime in July. We see the space as ideal for: (1). executives here for work, (2) couple(s) seeking a romantic getaway, (3). Los Feliz / Griffith Park enthusiasts wanting an awesome home that's also walking distance to hikes & restaurants, and (4). architecture / art lovers into mid-century modern and amazing views. If you are potentially interested in our home for vacation rental or have any questions, please send me a message/inquiry within Airbnb. Thanks!
No smoking, no pets -- thanks! I don't want neighbors complaining, so please keep noise levels reasonable, particularly after 10pm.
After growing up in Dallas and living for more than a decade on the East Coast (Washington, DC and NYC), I'm thrilled to call Los Angeles my home. Career wise, I've spent time as a software developer and as an investor in technology companies and in real estate. Among my hobbies, I enjoy hiking, going to concerts (particularly at the Hollywood Bowl), and exploring the city with friends.
My partner Marcos moved here from Venezuela over a decade ago and is also so happy that LA is his home. He's an artist and focuses on visual development and character design and is currently working on a brand new animated TV show. He loves to draw and go to inspiring places where he can draw some more.
