I and my husband were so happy to stay Yuka's house. Yuka and her family helped us very kindly for local information and house comforts. Also, the house itself was so great with real traditional style, inner sunshine garden, the Japanese dog, Shiba Inu, and the outside of views with colourful flowers in streets. Especially, the night sky view with so many stars were so impressive that I highly recommend to see the beautiful view. :)

Yuka and her husband were wonderful hosts, ensuring that I had a very pleasant stay at their lovely renovated home in a quiet section of Mimasaka. I could not have asked for mmore and was delighted to have chosen their house as a place to stay during a recent motorcycle trip in the region.

After a week being electrify by Tokyo lights, Nambatei in Ōhara was the best place to take a break and relax in a 100 years old traditional wooden house from Edo period. We were warmly welcomed by Atsushi San and really felt like home. The cafe-restaurant serves delicious fresh food and the shop is animated with a great deal of passion for arts. The people in the village are really kind. It's a very peaceful and beautiful place in a truly authentic part of Japan. We wish we could have stayed longer. We absolutely recommend it.
