Fran's place was easy to find and check in/out. Located near restaurants and bars. Easy parking (we had a rental car). I lost contact with Fran after our stay which I wish didn't happen. I left my jacket there and have offered to pay to have it shipped back to me but haven't heard a thing :(. Aside from this, it was a lovely stay there.
Free parking is available in the surrounding residential areas (we found a spot about a 5 minute walk away based on Melisa's tips) but I wouldn't consider it 'on site'. The doors are opened with a code and be aware the door to the flat does stick! If you've put in the code and it doesn't open try lifting the handle on the panel both up and down. All in all it's a great location for a reasonable price in Dublin. Bedding was great, we really wanted to steal the pillows. :) We would definitely stay there again.
The room itself was clean and in good order. Bathroom was clean. Bedroom space was very small, but there were 2 couches in the living room/kitchen area which made the space plenty big for us as a couple. Wifi was spotty at best. Our biggest complaint was that there was NOT parking easily available. The "free" parking was not free on one of the stated streets and the other streets were under construction and not available. Almost all other parking was 3hr max, and thus not useable if you are going to town. Easy access to the bus line from the airport to city center. From the apartment, about 15/20 minutes to Trinity College right down town. Delicious creperie -Le Petite Breton -down the street about 2 blocks should not be missed!
