House has amazing views of nearby mountains, the site is glorious, tranquil, and surrounded by nature. Interiors feature the best of Mexican art and wool rugs from Teotitlan. Ideal for getting away from city, for artists, writers, and those who need a quiet break from the modern world.

The space

This private home is a modern, new construction, featuring modern conveniences with old world charm. Arts from throughout Latin America adorn each room. Peaceful rural area with views of Monte Alban.

Guest access

Kitchenette next to bedrooms for your use with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, and more. Fully stocked kitchen is upstairs, with dining and living spaces. I have two parking spaces, near front door.

Interaction with guests

Host Andres is very familiar with the area and Oaxaca reigion. He and his many contacts are happy to assist with any information you might need. Personal tours available for nominal fees to many local villages. Hablo espanol suficiente.

Other things to note

Taxi site is five minute walk from house; but taxi service to the door is available by arrangement; same from house into Centro.

Drew made us feel very welcomed from the beginning. The house is located close enough to the downtown area, restaurants and the Zocolo. I love to walk and was able to easily log 5 to 7 miles per day just walking around town. Taxi and cabs can be hailed on any corner.
