If you take only one thing away from this review, it should be that this place was excellent. Good value, great views, kind hosts. Despite the relative out-of-the-wayness of the location, you've got access to a fair few things to do (hiking, skiing, snow-shoeing, cinema, etc.) On the whole, it was a positive experience. The only major hangup was an incident getting into the driveway due to some pretty seriously icy conditions. Owners took it in stride though and fixed the problem the very next morning. If you're on the fence, this place is worth it.

Victoria and George are such lovely hosts! Charming and gracious from the time of our arrival up to our departure. George makes the best pancakes in NH and is a great narrator. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely come back. The farm itself is impressive, the view marvellous. The reality is even better than you can assume seeing all the pictures here. Thanks for all!
