Mary's place will give you the opportunity to experience the "country life" outside of Port Angeles. The detached bathroom was not a problem for us. The "kitchen" in the loft (room over garage) is equipped with basics for "vacation" cooking . However there is no microwave so keep that in mind when buying groceries. The view, her gardens, the stars, the quiet - all make the drive from Port Angeles worthwhile. Mary is welcoming - so is her sweet dog - and a delightful hostess.

Mary's place was great, exactly what was described, and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Mary's place exceeded my expectations. She is extremely kind and welcoming, allowing us into her home as if we were family. The view is stunning from the room and her garden is full of wonderfully fresh produce she allows us to pick from. I can't say enough about Mary and her beautiful cottage with a view! She knows so much about the area and helps make your trip smooth, fun and easy. If you're looking for a comfortable home for your trip, Mary's is the place to go!

Mary's home and property is wonderful! From the garage apartment you'll have a view of the lawn, garden and the water in the distance. There are cooking utensils and a hot plate for you to use. The bathroom is a short distance from the apartment and connected to the main house. Mary was extremely welcoming and had some great advice on local spots near by. I'd love to stay here again.

Mary's place is in a beautiful location and ideal for anyone looking to be one step up from camping! It is an over the garage unit with beautiful views and convenient to the sites of the park. The Kitchnette is very limited (hot plate and dishes) and no running water/bathroom inside wasn't a big deal but we were only there for a few days so I can imagine for a longer trip it may be cumbersome. Mary is incredibly kind and welcoming so we enjoyed our stay!

Mary's place is beautiful. Loved the gardens and the view of the ocean. The room above the garage was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay. Mary was helpful with hiking suggestions. I would highly recommend staying at this bnb.

We loved our stay at Mary's. She had great advice for our first time in the area, and the grounds and view were beautiful. It's a very peaceful and quiet retreat for anyone traveling to Olympic National Park and the surrounding area.
