Our reservation with Ori was sadly very disappointing as he was unable to follow our no smoking policy in the home. In addition he was so stoned and possibly in a poor attempt to air out the house, the front door and all windows were left wide open upon check-out (which as a home owner you can find to be very daunting upon arrival).
With a family checking in after Ori's reservation, the cleaners needed the extra time and labor to deodarize and clean the home to ensure the home was in the best condition that we promise to provide all guests upon arrival.
We have hosted many large groups, work retreats, family reunions, bachelor weekends, bridal parties etc., and we have never had any guest be as disrespectful as Ori and his group. We only charged what the cleaners billed for, respectfully nothing more than that. Receipts and pictures were submitted to Airbnb, and the Airbnb resolution department found Ori in violation and the billed amount fair and paid.
It's ironic that Ori's group disregarded and ignored the house rules, and yet he was mad at us for the consequences after. Such feeling of entitlement and lack of care is what weakens the very essence of what Airbnb is about. We strive to be excellent hosts. Hopefully future guests can see it in our other reviews under our profile.
