The Bungalow look like old indonesian home style "Joglo". Classic because they are beautifully created from recycled wood, collected over the years from boats, houses, trucks and the beach.

The space

The Bungalow is light and airy with king size bed, air conditioning, mosquito nets, garden bathroom, towels, large veranda with day’s bed, from where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze, with the mountains looming behind you.
Breakfast is included and served on your veranda
In the dry season from August we will make salt a few meters from your room, using the tradition Amed method, this trade is fast disappearing, but we want to keep the tradition going and produce this very special Balinese salt for our guests.

Guest access

Finally there is a raised terrace from which you can enjoy an elevated view of the surroundings, and enjoy a sunny, sunset drink as it sets behind Mount Agung or sunrise around 6 am.

Great location for scuba diving. Beach literally in the back yard of the villa. Excellent service from staff!

The beach Villas were lovely, we made good use of the day bed also! The location was sublime, I recommend hiring a scooter and taking the road all around the coast. The pool was good, everyone was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to fellow travellers.

Great place to stay, everything was perfect, the pool is beautiful, the place was clean and cosy... Made gave us all information before we arrive as well so nothing to add : it was great ! Just a general advice to guests staying at Made's villas, don't go to the restaurant on the beach next to the villas, the food is really not good!

We stayed one night in the classic beach villas. My first point is that amed really deserves more attention than it gets. There are a succession of small bays perfect for snorkling, you only need a scooter to discover it, no expensive boat ride. More about the accommodation, it is quite close from the pictures. When we stayed, there were electricity problems, the power went on and off all afternoon. When it went down at night we were at first quite mad and annoyed but it turned out that it was a blessing, indeed, in the north coast the beach has no clouds, they are stuck on the mountains just behind, we could then see one of the most beautiful sky I have never seen !!! It was gorgeous.

First of all, the most important thing about this airbnb is that the people gave one of the best treatments we received in Bali. They were so helpful and kind and always around. This went far to make us feel very comfortable in a place that didn't quite meet our expectations. We had a few issues with the room that made our stay a bit uncomfortable. We couldn't connect to the wifi from within the room. The bathroom door was quite difficult to open and required a bit of force to move. There was no shower head other than a hand-held one. The AC either wasn't strong enough or cold air was being lost through some holes in the room. Either way, I felt quite warm at night, but my girlfriend said she didn't mind it, so it wasn't too bad. There wasn't much furniture in the room other than the bed and the table behind the bed, which wasn't a big deal. The bar next door got a little loud, but they stopped playing music around 10-11 pm. As for the good things about the room. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net that covered it entirely. Zero bites during our stay. The pool was really nice and the whole place was right on the beach. You can walk from your room to the water in 30 seconds. The best part was the people working there. They were very nice and always around to help. I had a good time hanging out with them. Overall, a good stay with minor issues. Amed was great for snorkeling check out the Japanese wreck! Warung Ole for great local food!
