We are very very sorry to hear about this experience. This is very first time that we have ever heard about pests and the other issues-which we are resolving (Website hidden by Airbnb) fact, the recent guest reviews before this one have been excellent and so were surprised to hear about these issues.
We just had a prior guest who stayed for two weeks and have never had any pest issues beforehand, so the house is being treated now to resolve it before the next guest arrives.
Also, we keep an extra set of bed sheets in the middle closet--we would have been happy to let you know where to find the sheets if we were contacted during the stay--we are always available by text or phone.
Last but not least, we are having new chaulking done in the bathroom--and if there is ever a cleanliness problem it may be due to a new cleaning person--and we always have someone on hand to come in to do a quick same day cleaning.
We sometimes have noise issues with the neighbors, but prior to this stay it has recently been fairly quiet. Again, we have not had noise comments from past guests.
About the mattresses; they are a luxury pillow top / semi plush style, so they may not be everyone's preference, however the number one compliment that this house receives in the Reviews is that guests love the beds and think they are very comfortable...if this changes then we will plan to add more firm mattresses.
Again, we ask that if there are ever any issues, large or small, guests can contact us anytime during their stay to resolve them as quickly as possible.
As mush as possible, we use guest feedback as part of our guage and assessment of how well we are doing with the house. Prior to this review, all the recent ones have been excellent, however there is always room for improvement.
I am sorry again--and I appreciate you letting us know about these issues so that we can resolve them immediately.
