Welcome! We are a family of three and live in a light-filled house in the countryside, in a quiet neighbourhood at the edge of the village that offers an attractive view of the lake and the surrounding greenery, far from popular tourist places. The lake is at 4 min. walking distance.
Guests are accommodated in our luminous and spacious conservatory (queen-size bed / 160 cm). It is possible to put a separate mattress on the floor for a third person (additional fee). The conservatory has a direct access to the garden with an individual terrace. Blinds ensure discretion. In the cool season, the room can be heated with a wood burning stove.
The open plan kitchen/dining/living room is accessible also for our guests. There is a separate toilet on the same floor, the shared bathroom with a shower is on the mezzanine. A garage to store your bicycles is available on demand.
Interaction with guests
We love to converse with our guest and are happy to give tips and information about the region. If you desire, you may eat dinner with us at the family table (not included in the price).
Our 4-year-old son is very open-minded, enthousiastic and sociable. We hope you love children!
Other things to note
Being enthousiastic cyclists ourselves, we are well equipped for tour cyclists, offering a repair shop and a garage to store your bike. In the village you will find a shop/bakery (open 7 days a week), three restaurants and - open only during the Summer - a snack bar by the lake.
The journey by public transport is feasible, but a bit cumbersome. Lüscherz is located about one to two hours away from tourist places. If you don't mind that fact, you are cordially welcome.
Check-in after 9 p.m. only possible after prior agreement.
Please turn your mobile phone on flight mode after 10 p.m.
WiFi only available on demand.
Please use the squeegee on the glass parts of the shower cubicle after you've taken a shower.
We care about our planet, so please help us use our ressources such as water and electricity responsibly. We recycle everything from glass to plastic bottles to kitchen waste.
Stephan is a holistic doctor, Tanja studied hospitality management and works for a foundation that encourages the translation of Swiss literature. We are avid cyclists and enjoy long bicycle tours with our little son who also loves the outdoors. Since we moved into our new home, we started growing our own vegetables and enjoy spending time by the lake. We love to meet people from all parts of the world.
