Mikes place is an amazing, charming flat right in the center Of greenpoint - litterally 2 min from subway and close to bars, shops etc - and Mike was a really friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Mike is congenial and communicates well. The apartment is on the quiet side street of the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn near the metro and an easy walk to the East River ferry dock. Proved very convenient for Brooklyn wedding we were attending. We could easily explore the city from here. Do be aware that this is a New York apartment and at this price point you should not be surprised that it is actually quite small. The bathroom and shower are particularly tiny and might prove difficult for anyone of larger stature to have any comfortable use at all. (I am 5'5"/1 75# and it was tight for me for instance.) there's one flight of stairs leading up to the apartment and no elevator. Just a short flight and gave us no trouble at all but anyone with mobility problems needs to be aware. Opening windows in the bedroom and kitchen gave a nice flow of fresh air. There's no view as such but looking out the kitchen window you see the pretty flower garden tended by the neighbor on the first floor beneath you. All in all a reasonably well located spot at a good price which though quite small served it's purpose for us just fine.

Mike's friend met me at my place of work and delivered the keys. That was really nice. Also, they were easy to communicate with.
