Traditional south facing longere with views to the forest of Lanouee. Set in the heart of rural Brittany. This recently refurbished gite is convenient as a base for touring or just chilling out in the peaceful countryside.

The space

The south facing house and garden let you soak up the sun all day long, and conveniently in the evening it shines on the barbeque and pool.
As the garden and parking area are fully fenced the property is ideal for younger children to explore and play freely.
The lane outside is almost traffic free and ideal for quiet walks.

Guest access

You will have full use of the house and gardens with an above ground pool and childrens swings.
The children are invited to feed the goats and chickens if they wish.

Interaction with guests

We are available all the time to address any problems and give local advice.

Other things to note

We have a kitchen garden (Pottager) which provides fruit and vegetables in season. Our chickens also supply a steady stream of fresh free range eggs.

What a wonderful house in a wonderful setting. We were made to feel welcome from the second we arrived. We were greeted with a few essentials in the kitchen and eggs regularly available and collected by our own kids! Steward and Doreen were always helpful with places to visit locally as well as letting the kids be entertained by the chickens, goats and, most importantly, Sally the footballing dog! A lovely, safe and tranquil setting that was perfect for our family.

Stewart And Doreen User Profile

Doreen and Stewart decided to move to France when Stewart turned the magic 60. We liked the peace and quite of rural France and wanted to try a bit of the 'Good Life'

After renovations were finished on the property we opened our doors to clients in 2009. Since then we have been inviting people to share in the relaxing peace and quiet we have here.

While we have been here our 'family' has expanded and we now have a menagerie consisting of Goats, Chickens, cats and latterly Sally our collie dog.
