This modern apartment is located in a low-traffic side street in the beautiful Bötzowviertel - very central yet surprisingly quiet. In the beginning of 2013 newly renovated and furnished the apartment is located in an Art Nouveau building from the turn of the century and there on the first floor of the garden house. Through its southern exposure, the apartment is wonderfully sunny. In summer, the small balcony is a perfect place for breakfast. Who wants to indulge himself goes briefly into the front house to the Café Deli "Farior" there to enjoy the hotel's own organic espresso with regional milk.
Center of the apartment is a large living room with kitchenette and dining area for four. After a day of sightseeing you can relax on the comfortable three-seater sofa. In the evening it is in an instant converted into a sofa bed for two people (1.40 x 2.00 m). Flat screen TV with cable TV, radio-CD player with USB port and free Wi-Fi provide connection to the outside world.
The modern kitchen has a fridge with 3-star freezer compartment, a two-plate ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and coffeemaker. Crockery, cutlery, glassware and all cooking utensils are plentiful.
The 1.60 m wide double bed in the bedroom with a height adjustable bed base and 5-comfort zone mattress provide rest at night. In the wardrobe is enough space for a longer stay. The modern design bathroom is equipped with heated towel rails and a large shower.
The apartment is located in the Bötzowviertel, one of the quieter neighborhoods of Prenzlauer Berg, which is very popular with young families and where you find a playground on every corner. In the adjacent streets and in particular in Hufelandstraße there is a good selection of cafes and restaurants as well as small individual shops. You can go shopping until 10 o’clock in the evening in Rewe next door or even on Sunday at the grocer's next door in Bötzowstraße.
The tram M4 (stop Hufelandstraße) is less than 5 minutes to walk and from there it's only three stations to Alexanderplatz. An ideal base for exploring Berlin are world clock and television tower and then one should turn in the direction of Hackescher Markt. There one will find a variety of designer shops, a huge selection of cafes, bars and pubs. Or one moves towards Unter den Linden where many tourist attractions such as the Berlin Cathedral, the State Opera as well as numerous museums and theaters are lined up.
Those who want to explore the area once the foot, may turn in the neighbouring Winsviertel and Kollwitzkiez to breathe more Prenzlauer Berg air.
In the south the Bötzowviertel borders the Friedrichshain park, an extremely diverse park, which in addition to sufficient lawns and playgrounds also offers a complete range of sporting opportunities: From beach volleyball, tennis, football and basketball courts to inline skating and jogging track and a climbing rock one will find something for everyone. The beer garden Schönbrunn, an open air theater and the historic fairytale fountain at the Königstor complete the offer. And he who comes in winter, may prove on one of the two bunkers mountains his sleigh arts.
