Dominique is a very kind man, he made the little cottage with the nice garden a nice place for a stay in the country side. He went to the bakery in the village every morning to buy us a bread. The kitchen was small but functional, the attic was big and spacious. All in the house could have been a little bit cleaner. We had a good start of our holliday in Bretagne.

Charming but quite basic shed in the middle of nowhere, which waa the nice thing about it. Fresh bread in the morning is a good service (the ad says 'breakfaat imcluded, thats bread only). The stay was uncomforrable because it was pretty filthy...even the toilet had not been cleaned and...the bed sheets not been replaced since....hard to tell. The couch cusions smelled horribly etc. I dont understand all the super positive reviews. As hygiene is the main condition for the quality of an accommodation, at least in our view. The owner is superfriendly and obviously cuckoo, which was uncomfortable sometimes.

Dominique is a really friendly host and welcomed us in a nice way! We took us from a point because we could not find the accommodation and helped us to prepare see fire to get warm. The daily bread for breakfast was delicious. Merci beaucoup!

Dominique was great in category including giving us produce from his organic produce hothouse. It was the quietest night as one might expect with his perfect nature spot being at the end of the road. The world would be better off visiting his labor of love.

Dominique's gîte is genuinely rustic.  Set in a beautiful spot in the middle of the most tranquil and relaxing farmland. It is a functional, basic and charming space,  decorated in a creative way. A fantastic countryside location with easy access to the big tourist spots. We loved our stay.

We chose Dominique's cottage because we wanted a quiet, restful holiday after a busy week in Paris, and it was a good stopping off point before taking the ferry at Roscoff. The accommodation was simple but provided everything we needed. We particularly liked the rustic attic bedroom, which had a pretty window overlooking the countryside that you could watch through the delicate flowers in the window box as you sat up in bed. Quite magical! We were made to feel exceptionally welcome during our stay. and Dominique really is a wonderful host who made our experience a very pleasurable one. Sometimes his visitors choose his house because it is not far from St Malo, but we decided on this occasion to visit nearer to home. Thanks to Dominique's advice, we discovered the local area, which is breathtakingly beautiful. We went to Saint Jacut de la Mer when the tide had gone out and walked across miles of beautiful beach that is normal covered by sea. It was so relaxing and romantic. There is also a vast stretch of coastline which we drove alongside for ages and ages, which is magnificent. I am sure Dominique will tell you the route, if you are interested. There is also a good supermarket in Ploubalay, a 10 minute-drive from Dominique's house, where we were able to stock up with high quality food and wine. It is a reasonable sized Carrefour Market. Next to it is very good shop which sells delicious bread and biscuits. To sum up, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend this simple, but very pretty cottage in beautiful countryside. After a hectic week in France's capital, we had a wonderfully relaxing time in Brittany.

Dominique made us all feel very very welcomed, he had prepared a beautiful cot for our 10 month old baby, brought her baby food, us fresh milk and bread. His gite is in a spectacular location, really accessible to the most important places that you will wish to see. Trust him when he makes suggestions of places to go. His garden is idyllic. Dominique is an excellent host, generous and patient with us with our limited French. The gite is comfortable and it is remarkable how he made it what it is brick by brick. We loved his art work, so much so, he kindly made us our very own mobile of stones from his garden. We wanted a relaxing place with an open minded host, Dominque's gite was all that and more. Would truly recommend this. Wonderful for babies too, our little one was safe crawling outside and excited by swallows flying in and out of the bedroom window, listening to the sounds of birds, visiting a neighbouring horse and donkey, watching the frogs jumping naughtily into the garden pond. True French countryside holidaying. Thank you Dominique! Ps (URL HIDDEN) is a great ap to down load to navigate yourself around, uses your gps not data roaming. We found it really useful.
