The house is located in Ano Petralona, a district full of streets lined with orange and olive trees. It is a neighborhood renowned for its authentic and inexpensive tavernas, cosy bars and delightful old Athenian traditional atmosphere. Ano Petralona is much appreciated by intellectuals and young people of Athens who enjoy the lively ambience of the area.

The main focus of the neighborhood is Troon street, where the house is located. Within a walking distance from the house (1 minute by foot), you can find one a very well known open-air movie theater in Athens, called "Zephyros". On Friday you can also enjoy a farmers market in the street nearby, where you can find a colourful offering of fruit and vegetables.

We had a fabulous stay at Clios house - lots of space, great outdoor garden area to relax in, big airy rooms, great ambience and character, all the modern conveniences. The neighbourhood was good too - full of local friendly people, (not a tourist area) with several excellent bars and cafes and small supermarket all in the same street. Not far to the Acropolis within walking distance but we took taxis a lot (only about 4 euros). Clio was there to greet us when we arrived with a wonderful Greek salad, bread and refreshments. She had all the information we needed. Staying in this lovely quirky house made a huge difference to our stay. Many thanks Clio

We had a wonderful stay in Clio's beautiful home. She went out of her way before, during and after our stay to ensure we felt fully at home and have everything we needed. The house is in a great location, close to transport and many fab restaurants on the doorstep. I would recommend a stay here to anyway and thank you again Clio for such a great time!

The house is very nice, exactly how it is described and showed in the photos. We found it extremely clean. The location is excelent, near the Acropolis and other attractions. There are several excelent restaurants a few steps from the house. Clio was very friendly. She left us a fresh Greek salad, bred, fruits, a bottle of wine and guides, maps and information about the subjects we were interested in. It was fantastic. I wish I could return some day in the future.

Clio is the perfect host! She greeted us with Greek hospitality and some delicious treats. Her beautiful home is walking distance to many of the top locations to visit in Athens. Otherwise we used taxis, Uber and public transportation for the further located ones. It is close to top rated taverns that stay open late or deliver food to the house. A supermarket is just down the street. The home was clean, had air conditioning and all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Clio was readily available for any questions we had by phone, text or email. She helped us arrange for transportation back and forth to the airport since we were a party of 7 people. We highly recommend this location and would stay there again.

Clio is a great hostess. She can't do enough for you. Her house is a treasure with lots of interesting paintings and works of art. Her refrigerator is loaded with all kind of goodies and snacks. The location is within walking distance of the Parthenon. There are several good restaurants within short walking distance of her house. I highly recommend this lady and her house

Clio welcomed us into her home with fresh orange juice and pastries, carefully showing us around the villa and the neighborhood, ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay the best possible. The property was beautifully decorated and ample space for a family visiting. The restaurants in the neighborhood were all fantastic and reasonably priced. Close to the Acropolis and accessible to major sites in Athens,,,but we all couldn't wait to get home to enjoy cocktails in the garden and roof terrace.
