The rooms are large double with plenty of storage space, a large desk and the space arranged over two floors (bedrooms and bathroom upstairs, living room and kitchen on the lower floor). The flat is cosy and peaceful. The view from the bedroom available covers the skyline of London! Outdoor there is a pretty communal garden. Good internet and smart TV with Netflix, iPlayer etc.
Vibrant and dynamic Brixton is a 5 minute walk away.
The flat is ideally located. Only five minutes from Brixton tube station (taking you into central London in another 7 minutes), yet in a peaceful quiet back block surrounded by a pretty garden. Beautiful and tranquil Brockwell park is only a 7 minute walk away.
The full address is 136 Brixton Hill Court. The apartment is in the back block, so you should buzz for entry to the front block (on Brixton Hill) and then walk out from the first building where you will immediately see the second back building where you should buzz again (136) for entry. Sometimes GPS takes you to Hayter road from the postcode but please note access to Brixton Hill Court is from Brixton Hill (the main road connecting Brixton and Streatham)
Interaction with guests
Guests are free to use the sitting room which is spacious with plenty of comfy seats, a record player and some classic vinyl a collection of board games as well as a large smart TV with direct access to Netflix, iplayer etc and a table and chairs. Guests are very welcome to use the kitchen to prepare food or use the coffee machine for that all important pre-sightseeing or work fix. In the kitchen there is a fridge freezer and a washing machine. Upstairs there is a bathroom with a bath and shower above this.
Other things to note
Please close the big windows when leaving the property. Please remove shoes inside the property as the carpets are light.
I like my guests to feel at home, however it is important to be respectful towards the neighbors with regards to noise (which should be to a minimum after 11pm). There are plenty of places within a 5 minute walk to visit should you want to party later on into the night. The apartment is a non-smoking flat but you can smoke in the communal garden.
On entering the flat please remove outdoor shoes and store them under the stars as the carpets are light.
Being on the 5th floor the flat is open to the wind and rain. I usually close the large windows when leaving for the day.
