Watch the ferries, ships & sail boats on the sparkling Bay while enjoying your coffee or wine from the sunroom or patio. Fantastic central location for visiting SanFrancisco Bay Area & Napa wine regions. Lovely room, private bath minutes from SFFerry and Limo Service. Beautiful quiet waterview neighborhood near CSU Maritime Academy.

The space

Views here that amaze even the locals, with some of the most vivid sunsets stretching across the bay to Mt Tamalpias and the entire Marin bay shore, where the waters of the Bay at times reflect the colors of the sky. Breathtaking! The variety of ships and boats makes an ever changing and fascinating parade going right by and you can also see the beautiful Carquinez Bridge, a large assortment of birds often below you, or hear an occasional seal barking.

Guest access

Guests have a comfortable room with excellent queen bed and their own private bath with tub and shower. House is kept warm and cozy in the winter and has AC for the few hot summer days. Usually the bay breeze keeps everything comfortable in the summer. There is a washer/dryer that can be used for a load or two, and a well equipped kitchen for making coffee and a little breakfast. Cable TV and Wifi are available.

Interaction with guests

Usually I will be close at hand should you need anything. Most of the time I will prepare a light breakfast for you, which can include fruit /vegetable juices from my NutriBullet. Vegan and gluten free options are available too.Can also provide you with excellent consierge service, my very good friend is possibly the best consierge in the Napa area, but also has a lot of knowledge about the City and all of the Bay Area.

Other things to note

You can walk to the scenic campus of the California State University Maritime Academy or take a walk across the Carquinez Bridge to have brunch, lunch or dinner at the very popular Dead Fish Restaurant whose owners are also owners of the Stinking Rose and Fog City Diner, in San Francisco. You can take the Ferry to SF for the best culinary experiences and flavors from around the world. No driving required.

Deborah was a total lifesaver and accepted our very last minute booking after our other accommodation didn't eventuate as planned. We didn't know what to expect of Vallejo, but her house is in an amazing location with sweeping views across the harbour. It's wonderful to sit and watch the comings and goings on the water. The sunsets are incredible. And the neighbourhood was really friendly and safe. Our room was everything we needed. The bathroom is cosy, but again had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. We had a great trip to the city via the ferry from Vallejo and it's a great way to travel and have another perspective on the place. Deborah was a wonderful host and breakfast was amazing! Thank you so much - we look forward to coming and staying again!

Our check in was probably a little inconvenient for Deborah but she was very kind and flexible with us. As soon as we entered the home we rushed to the backyard to catch the last few moments of a beautiful sunset with a blood red sun. The view is absolutely incredible and there is a wonderful area in the bakyard where you can sit without worrying about actually being outside. Tips -Dont leave food out! I left a crumb of a donut out on accident and there were many ants after it! Just being mindful of that is important -The bathroom has some amenities so it's okay if you accidentally forget body wash or toothpaste -The house is very comfortable and beautiful, if the weather permits I would definitely recommend some stargazing -CAREFUL! When we we outside at night a skunk came through the yard! It was harmless but made us a little nervous to accidentally startle it Overall a beautiful spot I would highly recommend to anyone

Response from Deborah:
Oh dear Adelita, you were here for the BIG (URL HIDDEN) usually brings the ant scouts out for their annual foray into my kitchen. The color of the granite here is great camo for (URL HIDDEN) yes, September is the month when we cannot leave crumbs for them or else the invasion goes from a few to thousands, an army of ants. So, I thank you for making a quick adjustment. You were great at adjusting....thanks for being you. It was a joy to have you here.

Being that this was my first time ever staying in an AirBNB, I was quite impressed. From the minute we first arrived, Deborah was the consummate hostess making sure that we were comfortable. What a beautiful home that she has made. From the accommodations, to the breakfast, ease of access and fantastic conversation, Deborah's place was fantastic. I'd encourage anyone reading this that this hostess and home are deserving of your attention and patronage. Thanks again Deborah!

What can I say... A LOT OF AMAZINGNESS!! Myself and my husband had the pleasure to stay at Deborah's Airbnb during our moving transition from LA to the Bay Area while we were home searching then waiting for our home to be ready after renovation, and working, Seth and I stayed here for about two months. Originally it was going to be one month but since we couldn't move into our place yet, Deborah welcomed us with open arms to stay an additional month. Whether you are looking to stay at Deborah's Airbnb for just one night or even longer I definitely recommend her and her home!! She has truly taught me how to open my mind and see the worlds possibilities! Her yummy cooking, recommendations on places to visit in the Bay Area, tips on living a healthy and holistic lifestyle, and way of viewing the world are all things I've personally taken in and will remember forever. I'm happy to say we have made a great friend that's helped us out tremendously as we have made our transition. The view of the ocean in her sunroom is super relaxing! Nice cozy room and bathroom! Thank you so much once again so very happy we were able to feel like home in your Airbnb!

We stayed one night with Deborah while visiting Napa vineyards. It was perfection- a gorgeous sunset from her stunning sunroom, enjoyable conversation with Deborah, , and a homemade breakfast (friendly to gluten free folks!) in the morning. The room and bathroom were as promised; very clean and private. It was very much like staying with a family friend; would definitely stay with Deborah again if we are in the area!
