Ideal retreat for couples. Contemporary, beautifully finished ground floor 1 bed self-catering apartment with courtyard, decking, patio furniture & vehicle parking. Situated 4km east of the UNESCO world heritage city of Bath in Batheaston village.
Situated just outside Bath in a conservation area and within 100m of the River Avon, the 1890 property belies the stunning contemporary interior. Compact but perfectly formed, the space has been designed with great care and sociable living in mind. Everything you could need in a clean, simple package. The living area combines lounge, dining and kitchen in one seamless space. Access is to the rear of the property via a lovely courtyard, part decked, part gravelled with imaginatively planted borders and parking for 1 vehicle. There is a BBQ and patio furniture with parasol for those lazy summer days.
You have your own front door to come & go as you please. We supply a code for the Key Safe 24 hrs prior to arrival, so you can arrive at your convenience.
Interaction with guests
We live in 268a, the apartment above, so we're around if you need us but respect and appreciate your privacy. We love to greet our guests to give first hand recommendations and insights into our area, if timing means we just keep missing each other then we have supplied all the relevant info you could need during your stay within the apartment.
Other things to note
The dedicated parking space is tight for larger vehicles so you may need to park street side - for free.
We don't allow smoking in the apartment, but smokers are welcome if they are happy to smoke outside.
We don't charge for cleaning - it's just too complicated, but we do expect to find you've left the property as you found it.
Pets are only accepted with prior agreement (damage deposit, cleaning charge and conditions apply).
Hi, my wife & I absolutely love Bath and its green valley setting - we're here if you need us & very happy to share our local knowledge but we equally respect your personal space & understand most people are happy to explore and find out for themselves.
