We are a friendly couple that own houses side-by-side: Mark is a gardening chef and Sophia works at the community gardens nearby. We live in the cottage next door, so you will mostly have the house to yourselves.

Oamaru was voted Sharpest Town in NZ in 2015 and Lonely Planet has named it "the coolest town in New Zealand". Come and find out why for yourself!
Guests will have access to a shared kitchen, lounge, toilet & shower. We have bicycles & a tandem available on loan.
Interaction with guests
We really enjoy hosting visitors from around the world. Depending on your interests, we can point you in the direction of local spots & highlight destinations.
If our schedules permit, we can pick you up at the local bus stop. Getting around Oamaru is easy, especially since we are in the heart of town. We can loan you some bikes to get around.
We live in the house next door, but feel free to come over and hang out.
Other things to note
We also have a house cat named Giuseppe and puppy Figo who enjoy pats and snuggles. If you have allergies to cats or dogs, please be aware. If you have a friendly, potty-trained dog, they are also welcome as guests. Our yard is fully fenced.
We expect our guests to treat our home with respect and keep it tidy.
