Wonderful little hostel in downtown Reykjavík. Really close to restaurants, shops, and cafes. The place itself is extremely well kept and nice inside. Most tour buses will pick you up here too.

I had a wonderful stay in this hostel, all facilities were good and very neat. Location is super - centrally located and close to everything - downtown, supermarket (just outside the house), other shops, eateries are also on the same street. All of the tour pick-up points are very close by (just 100 mts walkable) and few tours also provide a stop at this hostel too. A nice hot water swimming pool is close-by. Entire house is very warm (well heated) even during winter. There are 2 bathrooms and one of the bath room (at the entrance) is a bit small - good enough for short people. The other bathroom is big. I had no issues with cooking as there were less people in the hostel during my stay, but i believe there could be issues when hostel is fully occupied. There is a big fridge in the kitchen so you can store your groceries. Hot water is available all the time, the bathrooms are heated. Towels are not provided, so better carry. Hosts are really good, Svava family atleast visited once or twice in a day and were helping the guests with any questions or also had small chat. The door lock PIN was not shared earlier, but anway Arnar answered my call and helped me with the code to open the door lock. All in all, i had a great stay and would surely recommend this place.

Very friendly hostel, good location in Reykjavik. The loft room is great- you can get up on the roof to watch the Northern Lights!

This is such a lovely place to stay! It's in the centre if all the shops, across the street from groceries and has a lovely backyard. It is clean and the people running it are a beautiful, warm family :)

I had the most wonderful time staying with Svava and family. They were all warm, wonderful and welcoming. It honestly felt like staying with family. The location of the hostel is great, close to everything you could need; groceries, bus stops, bars etc. It is clean, tidy and well organised. Definitely a must stay in Reykjavik!
