In the Downtown of Budapest near the Opera House and Deak Ference, Gozsdu, restaurants and pubs is a brand new fully furnished luxury flat. The apartment comfortably fits everyone as you prepare your perfect adventure in Budapest.
The apartment is on the 1st floor. It is 67 sq. meters apartment which has an American style kitchen with all the gadgets you need. The living room has a large sofa couch that has an elegant design. There are also two separate bedrooms with queen size beds. There is lots of natural light and everything is new as the apartment just finished a complete renovation.
The kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, a full sized refrigerator-freezer combo, a microwave, coffee machine, water boiler and much more. Resources and tourist information are available to help you with your adventure through the city.
If you arrive by metro, then the closest stop is Deak Ferenc or Opera House with the M3 (blue) line which is only a few minutes walk from the apartment. The city has excellent public transportation options.
If you arrive by car, parking is free on the weekends and at nights between 8pm and 8am. We recommend that you use the public transport as parking in the city can be challenging at times. Cars are great for travelling outside the city. There are parking lots available ranging fro 2-3 euros per hour.
Public Bus is available which takes you to the Blue Metro line 3, from which Deak Ferenc is accessible. This method takes roughly an 45min to a hour. Another option is to take the Shuttle, which is much faster, affordable and also drops you off close by. The third option is taking a Taxi, which can cost about 30-35 euros.

-Night Life & Best Entertainment Spots
There are an abundant amount of famous clubs, bars and restaurants just a few minutes away by walking from the apartment.
Krudy Gyula utca is filled with small pubs and restuartants. It is one minute from the flat, its a quiet walking street but filled with color and life. I highly recommend Deak Ferenc square which is probably the most buzzing place to hang out in the evenings and weekends. We can also recommend some of other places depending on what kind of music you prefer. Raday street is also very nice which is closer to Kalvin square.
My first day I went to famous Szimpla Kert bar. It was full of people from all over the world enjoying Budapest’s famous “Ruin Bar” atmosphere, drinks and food. It is only 11 minutes from the apartment. Or you can try one of Salsa bars or Dance Clubs if you are in mood for dancing. Or try Gozsdu courtyard or one of the wine bars which is also close to Deak.
If you are looking for a relaxing day at the spa you can try the city’s most famous thermal bath house Gellert Spa (12 minutes by transport) or try one of the many massage parlors after your workout.
Some Hungarian restaurants that I can recommend nearby are: Belvarosi Disznotoros and Trofea Grill (where you have two options - all you can eat or al la cart). Of course we can recommend some other great places for you depending on your preferences. Also I would highly recommend you try Hungarian desserts like pancakes, Hungarian Gelato or various types of pastries and cakes you can find at the local dessert shops.
You can find various recommendations in the Guidebook section that show them on the map so it is easy for you to find.
-Discover the best sights in the city
I am happy to show you around the city that I have fallen in love with after all my travels or I can recommend some great tour companies that can really share the history and architecture of the city. During my first trip to Budapest, I took a nice stroll beside the Danube river taking in the beauty of the Buda castle, enjoy the history of the Parliament building and the architecture of the Basilica. One of my favorite place is the area around the Synagogue where you can discover so many great restaurants.
I hope you are excited about your trip no matter where you stay :)
- Please note that we charge 100 euro if you smoke inside the apartment.
Please respect the neighbors and keep things quiet after 9 pm and this way we can all stay out of trouble. No smoking in the flat but you are welcome to smoke in the courtyard. Please treat the flat with love as everything is new and make yourself feel at home :)
I recently moved to Budapest because I fell in love with the city. The culture, history and the beautiful friendly people of this city has won my heart. I travel a lot for work as a global consultant and love to discover new places and cultures. When you arrive I will do my best to feel at home and discover the amazing energy of this city. I grew up in LA.
