The space

This first floor, two-bedroom, two bath Garden View Condominium is spacious and offers a private, furnished outdoor lanai, a garage, and offers comforts you'd expect from the most luxurious stay in Kauai.

Premium shared facilities are at your fingertips and include a whirlpool spa, swimming pool, barbecue area, and both a business and fitness center.

Warm, elegant furnishings and a multitude of amenities set the tone for a relaxing and comfortable Hawaiian escape. A multitude of glass doors create a bright and airy ambiance. This elegant home encompasses 1,250 square feet of interior living space and large lanai. There is cable in each room and your home away from home is wired with high-speed internet.

Your villa comfortably accommodates four people between the two King bedrooms. A Queen Sleeper Sofa is available for up to two additional guests. Each bedroom features a comfortable mattress and linens, as well as its own well-appointed bathroom. Rooms are cooled by ceiling fans and there is central air-conditioning. The master suite has direct access to the lanai.

A quick walk across a scenic, tree-lined street will deliver you to the renowned Makai Golf Club. The course is a Robert Trent Jones, Jr. design. Originally developed in 1971, it was redesigned and reopened in 2010. The Makai Course winds its way around serene lakes, native woodlands and the spectacular coastline with views of Bali Hai and Hanalei Bay. The course plays to a par 72 with four different sets of tees that can be stretched to more than 7,200 yards from the tips.

The entire north shore of Kauai features spectacular beaches. Take the time to explore Kauai's natural bounty by taking a helicopter ride, enjoying a boat excursion to the majestic Napali Coast, hiking, or partaking in any of the diverse array of activities that this serene island has to offer.

You are steps away from both Hideaways Beach and Anini Beach, and the famous Queen's Bath. They are all great locations to gaze upon panoramic ocean views, where whales breach the surface during winter months, and lush neighboring islands are the only thing interrupting the endless Pacific. We believe that pure water holds miraculous power to cleanse the spirit.

Anini Beach is known for its warm and gentle water, making it a favorite for families, snorkeling and paddle boarding. Moments away are both Hanalei Bay and Tunnels, just to name a couple of the world-class surfing spots immediately surrounding Princeville. Bali Hai is right around the corner surrounding Hanalei Bay where you can watch as the sun kisses the horizon and is scattered over a million miles of the Pacific.

Other things to note

When you leave the airport there is a Costco close by. OR, on the way to Princeville you will pass through Kapaa where there is a Safeway on your left. It is hard to miss. Please use my phone number at Safeway to receive the discounted pricing. There is a Foodland in Princeville, but you may max your credit card out as it is SUPER expensive.

Then, set your GPS for the St. Regis in Princeville. My condo is approximately a mile before the St. Regis, but GPS does not understand my address. When you enter Princeville and get on the correct road after the traffic circle you will pass over two speed bumps. Take the first right hand turn after the second speed bump onto Pepelani Loop (You will see a sign for SandPiper Village at the turn). If you have gone over a third speed bump, you have gone five feet too far and the tail of your car should still be in the intersection. Once you are on Pepelani Loop turn IMMEDIATELY left into Plantation at Princeville. I am the VERY, VERY first driveway on your right. My unit is downstairs - unit 212. You should be looking at a garage door when you park. There is a lock box to the left of the door that has front door keys on it. I will provide you with a code.

Most of all, I would like to welcome you to the Garden Island, where you will not have a care in the world other than spending quality time with your friends and family.

I cannot even believe I have to write these rules but I have learned many lessons through hosting adventures!

1. No LOUD Parties. Be respectful of your neighbors!
2. Please use AC Sparingly, if at all! Pretty Please! If you must, please turn off when you are cool enough and also when you leave for the day. Finally, please close all doors and windows or the AC will freeze up and then leak. The trade winds are almost always enough as they keep the place breezy and cool! Just start by letting the room cool down when you enter by opening the windows and doors.
3. No smoking
4. No Pets
5. Make sure feet and body are free of all sand. I have left a hose and buckets for you to wash sand off your feet. If there is sand in the showers it will clog up and not drain. I have left plenty of mats for you. If you need more mats, they are in the master bathroom armoire drawers.
6. Please do not overfill the washing machine!
7. Please wash sand off beach toys/surfboards, etc. There is an outdoor water supply just to the left of the front door as you are leaving.
8. The trash bins are a building down on your left. Please take out as needed. More trash bags are available for your use.
9. Please let me know if you break or have ruined something. I will be fair, but I would like a heads up!

Most important, have a great time, enjoy your holiday and throw all of your real-world thoughts out of the window. You can pick them up when you get home.

With kindest regards,

This place is beautiful and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are well spaced. There are so many beautiful spots to hang out. The kitchen was perfect for us. The pool and location were exactly what we wanted, and Susie was helpful! There was one quirk that might matter to some guests, although we didn't find it to be a problem for us. The air conditioning doesn't extend to the second bedroom. The tradewinds weren't blowing during our stay, so we noticed a pretty big discrepancy between the temperatures in the master, the living, and the second bedroom. Again, this wasn't a problem and won't matter to many people, but it's worth noting. Overall an incredible stay and I'd love to stay here again!

Susie's place far exceeded all our expectations! It was spotless, quiet, located in the perfect Princeville neighborhood, relaxing, and most importantly felt like home (only in a tropical paradise). My father who was staying with us was very impressed as well. The condo was spacious enough that we all had our own living space, but could easily whip up a quick meal and enjoy it on the lanai with the entire family. It was steps away from running along the Princeville golf course, a short drive for dinner at the St. Regis, and easy enough to get to the main road towards Hanalei or Kapaa. Did I mention how clean and spacious it was? Would highly recommend to anyone with littles or a in-laws. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our only regret was not booking it for a few days longer. Much Aloha!

Communication was clear and prompt from beginning to end with Susie. Nice location in the north side of kuaui. The pictures and description does not do this place justice! It was much larger that what it seems with high ceilings and windows galore for natural light! The kitchen and bathroom was fully stocked. The garage stored all the beach gear one would need, lots and lots of towels, and the beds were all so comfy after an activity filled day. Susie even left a welcome pineapple and it was the BEST white pineapple we ever tasted. So that was the cherry on top to our air bnb. Mahalo Susie! We felt the aloha spirit at her place!

Susie's Condo was great for our vacation to Kauai. The condo was very clean and well maintained with all kinds of amenities. The location in Princeville was perfect to access Hanalei, Ke'e beach and the Napali coast hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Susie User ProfileSusie is a superhost.

I have been in the vacation industry since 2001 living on a variety of tropical islands in the Caribbean and Hawaii. I moved here in July from St. John in the Virgin Islands and feel as if I have finally found a place that connects with my soul.

I have traveled extensively around the world and enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. There is immense freedom in breaking away from life in order to focus on living. They say you only live once. I believe that you live every day, you only die once.

Enjoy your holiday, and welcome home.
