The location is perfect: 3 blocks from the beach (so you can just go out and run), on a beautifully restored square in front of a magnificent church. 2 blocks to the left, a wine shop (Oak Tree). 2 blocks on the right, Farmers Market every Saturday, with garden-fresh fruits, veggies and cheese. Walk a bit to Maqam al-Sultan, Tripadvisor's #1 restaurant for Cyprus (a fantastic Lebanese), or to Stou Roushia, the best Cypriot tavern in town. In other words: location simply cannot be better!!
The amenities are 5-star: elevator with a private key, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, a huge kitchen island, professional sink, large fridge, you name it!). This is a restored 1930 property, with excellent local design and with 2016 standard of living. There is a huge balcony overlooking the square, where you get morning and evening sun; and a huge inner courtyard where your kids can play, you you can have a glass of wine in the evening, and work on your notebook in fresh air. There are 2 bedrooms and a huge living room that's great for kids, meeting friends, and everything else. Oh, yeah, and the windows are floor-to-ceiling!
The host, Irene's brother Kip, has been available 24/7, and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We are so very happy to have found this place and we have recommended it now to all of our friends. If you also choose to stay here, please take good care of everything, as I will definitely return and we must keep this treasure in perfect condition! =)
