Annie's cottage was an adorable room in the front yard. We got the "tiny house" feel which was fun! Comfy bed and a tea maker. The shower was just enough for what we needed and the books provided were entertaining for a quiet evening.

We stayed for one night on our way back from holiday in Cornwall (a very convenient half way point). Annie was so welcoming it was like meeting an old friend! We stayed in "Herbie", a beautifully converted shepherd's hut, complete with en-suite shower, wood burner, tea/coffee making facilities. Even 2 wooden chairs and a table! Located in a lovely village and very peaceful. Annie allowed us to have our picnic lunch in her garden, with Millie (a very well behaved Cocker Spaniel) for company! A wonderful way to de-stress from driving along the A303. After a blissful night's sleep, we had breakfast in the cottage. Well... this was a feast! Homemade granola with a selection of freshly prepared fruit and homemade yoghurt with plum compote. Also juice that was "blitzed" (you've converted me, I must get a juicer). Then the main course, bacon, sausage and scrambled egg on toast. If you are still peckish, you can finish off with toast and a various selection of preserves, honey or marmalade. Fabulous... and many thanks Annie (and Millie!)
