Our family of 4 stayed in Ben and Helen's flat in August 2016. It is perfect for visiting Edinburgh, because it is a convenient walk, bus or Uber ride to the city center, Aurthu's Seat, and many great places right in Leith. The flat itself is even better than the pictures suggest. Comfy beds, nice linens and towels, fine views, and a bath worthy of a pricey hotel. Wonderful light from all windows. Roomy with an amazing remote control skylight and very high ceiling in the ceiling of bedroom 2. No noise from other flats. It was nice to hear kids playing happily in the park and school, both across the street, during the day. We enjoyed the restaurants, cafes and pubs in Leith as much, if not more , than the city center. We were here during Fringe and the city was crazy, and it was so relaxing to return to laid-back Leith each evening. We came with a car, parked it right across the street, and left it there for our entire 4 night stay. If you don't need a car to go elsewhere, you can easily get to the airport, train, bus etc. from here. Finally, the art, collectibles, and furniture are so beautiful, we wished we could just live here permanently. If this flat is available during your dates, just book it! You won't be sorry.

We Germans love to complain. And believe you me, at this price tag I tried hard to pin down a bad spot in Helen and Ben´s flat. And failed. Even my wife struggeled to get into her daily bad-mood moments, it simply wasn´t possible in here. Only troublesome points were, that our daughter didn´t want to leave for the Highlands and we couldn´t get our son off the huge park playgrounds in front of the door. Seriously, a fully equipped (kitchen, tv, wifi, ...), beautifully furnished flat with a nice view to Arthur´s Seat. Helen was there to receive us and always available when needed. Easy and uncomplicated communication at any time. So we move on to find a worse place. That will be easy. Thank you Helen and Ben. Hope you let us in again.

Amazing flat with super nice host! We enjoyed staying at Helen's place indeed. The flat was fully equipped with everything I possibly needed and extremely clean! Also the host quickly answered all my questions (not only about the flat, but also about the city). With the files of information she left for us, we could fully enjoy the city! The flat is a bit distant from the city center, but the neighborhood is really charming!

An absolutely beautiful flat, with plenty of space for four people to stay in. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from and very easy to get to Edinburgh City Centre! A definite recommendation. We would certainly come back.

The flat was just gorgeous. Myself and my 2 friends felt like we were staying in a boutique hotel suit! All the information left was handy, the flat was in a great location and we felt so at home.

I live in Edinburgh with my husband Ben and we enjoy travelling to new places as often as we can.

I work in arts management and Ben is an architect. As well as pursuing our interests in culture and design, we also love to be outside and enjoy lots of outdoors activities including hiking, cycling and swimming.

We get a lot out of sharing spaces and adventures with others and love how Airbnb allows people to do that.

As guests we're tidy, respectful and trustworthy and as hosts we appreciate the same in return. We want our guests to get the most out of staying in our flat and enjoying the fantastic city we live in.
