Interaction with guests

We try to adapt to our guests activities. Some would come for more time than others, for job or studies, and that could mean less interaction with them, but keep trying to make them feel comfortable, and if it is possible and it doesn´t interrupt their activities, we try to share time with them. However some others would come here for pleasure, and that could mean more interaction with them, because of the flexible schedules that they could have. But in the end, we seek the satisfaction and comfort as well as privacy and respect for each of our guests.

Muy Beuno! Villa Alfonsina was perfectly situated for us being across the road from Frida Kahlo's Casa Azule Museo. Coyoacan itself was also a lovely place to stay with the mercado and lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. Steve's Spanish was up to talking with Minerva but it was a great help to have Minerva's son Hector who speaks fluent english around also. A highlight of our visit was a guided tour by Hector, an archeologist, to the Teotihuacan ruins - highly recommend this if you have the time. We travelled around the sites of Mexico city using uber, local taxies, buses and the metro train service. Our room was very confortable with everything we needed for a weeks stay. Minerva made us feel very much at home and we were sad to leave.

COYOACÁN it is one of the most beautiful area’s of Mexico City , It’s home to many politicians , artist whether they are painters or actors from the old era. Food, you don’t or you can’t be picky sometimes food at the market is way better than at a four or five star restaurant. So stay at this place.

Room is meticulously clean and location is quiet. I would recommend this AIRBNB to any family or friend staying in Mexico. I was in Mexico for a professional conference and also took a few personal days. Minerva, Hector and Hector (son) went out of their way to make me feel welcome at their house. They even loaned me a few of their books, took me to the doctor when I got badly sunburned at a soccer game and showed me some great places to eat. They are far superior to any hosts that I would ever had and have earned my highest recommendation.

Arrived from airport, about 30 minutes away. The place is excellent, my room was private with comfortable bed and couch section, bathroom with shower, and large screen TV with Netflix. I was very impressed with the room, There's a kitchen that's for the guests to use, it was very convenient to make coffee in the morning, and keep drinks cold. I was given a key for the front gate and my room so I could come and go as I pleased. The Frida Kahlo museum is right around the corner, and it's about 2-3 blocks from one of the main areas of the Coyoacan. Restaurants, bars, sights to see, food markets and souvenir market all there. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, they arranged for their son, who is also an English speaking expert of Arqueological sites, to take me to the airport for a very reasonable price. I have already recommended this place to a friend who is heading to Mexico City in a few weeks. A nice safe neighborhood, quiet at night. I would highly recommend staying here.

Villa Alfonsina is one of the best places to stay in Mexico City. Minerva and her family are among the kindest, friendliest people I have ever met. They do so much to make certain your stay is wonderful. All of this on top of the location being in a lovely, safe neighborhood in Mexico City - right across the street from Casa Azul! (Frida Kahlo's house) To miss staying at Villa Alfonsina is to miss one of the best parts of Mexico! <3
